Summary
Dennis Eagle Inc. (Dennis Eagle) is recalling certain 2017-2021 Elite and Proview vehicles. The driver or passenger window may not open or close properly.
Remedy
Dealers will update the instrument cluster software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 31, 2022. Owners may contact Dennis Eagle customer service at 1-813-440-8136. Dennis Eagle’s number for this recall is FSI1412.

Chronology :
An FSI report was raised by DE Inc 12/1/21 about the described issue on one of the listed trucks. Fault reported as window not travelling all the way up or down. Engineering developed the fix 12/8/21. there have been no warranty claims or injuries as a result of this defect

Accordingly a recall to address this issue is being initiated effective Jan 22. The defect involves the driver and passenger windows, there is a possibility that the window may not go all the way up or down when pressing the appropriate button. Owners will be notified by mail about the recall and will be instructed to contact dealers to arrange this rework. The rework can either be carried out at customers premises or at your own dealerships depending on the customers requirements.
