8-4 Registering Remote Control
Engine Starter
13) The screen shown below will appear if
registration ends normally. Remove the key and
click the [OK] button.
Caution:
To add keys, you need one registered key.
1) Start the PC application according to section
"Starting Up the System" and display the Main
Menu screen. Using the registered key, turn on
the ignition switch. (Refer to "PC application
help for Subaru
Select Monitor".)
Caution:
Make sure to use a registered key.
2) On the Main Menu, select [All other models].

8-5 Deleting Key ID
10) Stand by as the communication initialization is
performed.
Caution:
You can keep one key and delete all the rest of
keys.
To do this, you need one registered key that is
to be kept.
1) Start the PC application according to section
"Starting Up the System" and display the Main
Menu screen. Using the registered key you
want to keep, turn on the ignition switch. (Refer
to "PC application help for Subaru Select
Monitor".)
Note:
When an error screen is displayed, refer to No. 14
in "8-7 Correspondence table when registration is
not possible".
Caution:
Make sure to use a registered key.
2) On the Main Menu, select [All other models].

• When performing each registration, make sure that the ignition switch is ON, and the driver’s door is kept open. With the ignition switch OFF and all doors closed, the
immobilizer CM will enter sleep mode, which disables any registration.
• For the vehicle with the remote control engine starter, perform "Remote Control Engine Starter Registration" when the immobilizer CM is replaced.
