Summary
The vehicle lost power rolling from a stop sign, felt like it was trying to shift but wouldn’t then went into limp mode, drove fine the next day. The faulty lead frame is failing, it has no other cause. I refuse to drive and put myself and others in danger to prove it. The dealer said they couldn’t cover it because the code is not covered in the recall, they recommended a new valve body or transmission, they didn't even say why. They were able to recreate it wrench light. P2704 is the code they claimed with the 2 leading causes are valve body, they said my fluid was clean and the vehicle has up to date service with no previous sign of wear, or the lead frame going out, the ACTIVELY recalled part. I tried contacting ford directly and they refused assistance beyond “tow it to a different dealer” and then ended the conversation. It is a safety issue that I will not wait to have break if there is clear signs of it happening.

Summary
While driving on the highway, my 2022 Ford Expedition suddenly lost acceleration. The gas pedal stopped responding completely and the vehicle gradually lost power until it shut off. It had to be towed and the battery was fully drained afterward. It was later diagnosed as a fuel pump failure. This was a sudden loss of propulsion in traffic and created a serious safety concern. Police pulled over and were able to get me towed to the nearest safe stop as my car stopped on a bridge with no shoulder.

Summary
I have experienced all of the following: "Sticky" Steering: A momentary feeling that the steering wheel catches or sticks when trying to turn it, often requiring extra force to break it loose, Notchy or Jerky Feel: When breaking through the sticky point, the car may jerk slightly, Abnormal Noises: You may hear clicking, grinding, or rubbing noises coming from the front of the vehicle when turning and Increased Effort: It becomes noticeably harder or stiffer to turn the steering wheel. There are no issues when driving straight but when I turn the wheel, into a curve or exiting or entering a ramp for example the wheel can stick and I have to apply additional force to complete the turn. I have also experienced a notch or jerky when completing wider turns, the steering seems to stick in muliple places while the turn is being made. There is also a clicking or popping sound that occurs at each sticking point. There have been no warning lights and I have tried turning on and off all the various lane assist features thinking that the issue was with the technology. Family members have verified these issues but I just found out about this issue after searching on the internet and checking to see that my vehicle was not included even though many of the searches said 2022 was included. If I can get my dealership to look at this issue or another professional I will make an additional complaint.

2025 Triumph Speed 400 — Moisture-Triggered Limp Mode and Loss of Turn Signals My 2025 Triumph Speed 400 enters limp mode and displays a check engine light and wrench warning whenever ridden in rain or high humidity. When this occurs, turn signals and hazard lights also stop functioning, leaving me without signaling capability in traffic. Both issues clear only after the bike dries out. The battery is disconnected and reset has not worked in the past, and continues not to help the issue. At my break-in service (~150 miles ago), I reported the issue. The dealer applied dielectric grease to the speedometer connectors and checked the battery terminals, but the fix was unverified as it didn’t rain until today. On 6/10/26 after riding to work in the rain, the bike entered full limp mode when I tried to leave — power was severely restricted and turn signals and hazards were completely inoperative. The simultaneous loss of power and signaling in traffic is a serious safety hazard with no advance warning to the rider. This is a documented issue across multiple owner forums affecting 2024 and 2025 Speed 400s, and Triumph is aware but has issued no recall or formal remedy. I am requesting NHTSA investigate and compel Triumph to issue a fix.

Engine shuts off without warning while driving. First reported to the dealer on XXX (approximately 12,000 miles) and has continued for 2.5+ years despite repeated repair attempts. Shutoffs typically occur at low speed while decelerating, such as turning into neighborhoods or approaching stops, but have also occurred while coasting at 33 mph on a busy road with cruise control active (August 8, 2025). Frequency has varied from roughly every 1,000 miles to severe clusters: three shutoffs within one hour on June 5, 2025 and again on August 4, 2025, and five in a single day in mid-August 2025. The dealer reproduced the failure with diagnostic equipment connected in August 2024. Most recent events: XXX;XXX (quit while coasting at 20 mph on a busy four-lane road with cruise control engaged);XXX (quit while slowing to turn onto a neighborhood street, 87 degrees F, A/C on high). The vehicle usually restarts immediately, but on August 28, 2025 it would not restart for 5-7 minutes. After restart, cruise control retains its previous set speed, indicating an incomplete power cycle. The dealer (Kia Store East, [XXX]) has attempted repairs since September 2023 under Kia case #XXX, including crank position sensor replacement, MAP sensor replacement (June 2025), and a four-wheel-drive coupler replacement plus software update (October 2025); shutoffs continued after every repair. Historical fault codes include P0068 and B1763. Events have occurred in traffic and at intersections with several near-misses, including one that nearly caused a collision in an intersection on XXX. I’ve bought my 2018 Acura TLX used from Holiday Mazda in [XXX] in XXX Now that my nightmare with the Auto Engine Idle is over(the shop that replaced my starter in November 2025 some how got it so it doesn’t work anymore. But that’s not my issue. I’ve had this issues 5-8 times in the last 2 years. I will be driving and my top screen in in the dash(it usually displays navigation, CarPlay, etc) will turn off and flash a couple times. Then it take out my “radio” screen. It’s like it’s resetting because the screens remind me when it electronics reset snd start up. It goes for a total of 2-3 times. Thank the Good Lord my car keeps driving safely. Here is the second issue. I’ve had my parking, forward collision, and the one where it says” object approaching.” Off for 2 years now. When they are on they will start beeping and freaking out. I’ve cleaned in front of wheee those cameras are located. I’ve researched online. And can’t figure it out. Now that I have my newly licensed son ([XXX] old) driving the car I want to get every safety issue working. Acura can’t figure it out and so I don’t know Where else to turn. Summary
Highway Incident: While traveling at highway speeds, a sudden evasive braking maneuver caused the truck to drop power. Upon attempting to re-accelerate, the throttle pedal went to the floor with zero response, and the vehicle continued to decelerate on an active highway. Multiple trailing vehicles had to make emergency maneuvers to swerve around the decelerating truck to avoid a high-speed, rear-end collision. Subsequent Incidents: The vehicle repeatedly forces an uncommanded speed limit of 11 mph while attempting to accelerate from a complete stop or merge from stop signs. This severe lack of predictable acceleration creates an immediate risk of being T-boned or rear-ended by cross-traffic, making the vehicle entirely unsafe to operate in normal traffic conditions. An authorized Ford dealership has confirmed the underlying failure of the hybrid system. They kept the vehicle for approximately one month to replace the entire hybrid drive unit. Following that repair, the vehicle was returned to the dealer a second time, where technicians confirmed a software communication failure between the electric and gas systems, attempting to resolve it by flashing/reprogramming the ECU. The vehicle’s hybrid system and software have been extensively inspected and worked on by manufacturer-certified technicians at an authorized Ford dealership. It has not been inspected by police or insurance, as no physical collision has occurred yet. No warning lamps or messages.
