Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox. The contact stated that after purchasing the vehicle from an independent dealer, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer several times and the check engine warning light was reset; however, the check engine warning light immediately illuminated while driving the vehicle. The vehicle was then taken to another independent mechanic, and an OBD-II scanner was attached, and it was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. My 2026 RAM 1500 has the optional trailer tow mirrors. I have had similar trailer tow mirrors on my previous vehicle, a 2023 RAM 2500 HD and they did not seem to be as bad as they are here on my 1500 RAM truck. These trailer tow mirrors obscure too much visibility, particularly and specifically at an intersection. People in crosswalks, as well as other motorists at either the left or right of me, at an intersection, are almost completely impeded by these larger mirrors. I'm 6'1" and I still have to completely get out of my seat to see around these mirrors, to ensure I see other motorists and that don't hit someone. I have had multiple close calls with both vehicles to the left and right at intersections being almost completely hidden with these mirrors, and even a pedestrian recently at a crosswalk. I don't think these mirrors are safe. I don't feel comfortable having my wife drive my truck with these mirrors.

The contact owns a 2021 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while her son was driving 55 MPH, the vehicle shut off with several warning lights illuminated on the instrument panel. The contact's son pulled off to the shoulder of the highway and had the vehicle towed to a dealer. While at the dealer, the mechanic discovered coolant leaking into cylinder #2, causing an engine misfire. The dealer replaced the head gasket. After the repair, the failure returned immediately upon driving the vehicle home from the dealer. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the failure persisted upon return of the vehicle. While checking the repair order, the contact discovered that the service report was blank. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure or determine the cause of the issue. The contact was not notified of the issue after retrieving the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and the contact was provided a case number. The vehicle remained with the dealer unrepaired. The failure mileage was 43,881.

Summary
Engine cooling system malfunction, Ive had to receive maintenance on my Acadia 2025 elevation 3 times in the pass 2 months for the same issue, The coolant system. This is becoming a reoccurring issue that needs to be investigated thoroughly. Ive had to get a rental car all 3 times, and this is becoming frustrating and financially draining. My biggest concern is what is to happen once my warranty expires? guess I'll be paying a note and repair cost until a recall is opened on this issue and then will have to wait for reimbursement. This is horrible to say this car was made 2 years ago. Attention is needed on this defective part. I'm so frustrated to I might just trade in this vehicle. I pay for dependability and reliability in the amount of 1300.00 monthly, but only receiving a financial headache.
