Summary
The windshield on this vehicle is faulty. On online forms, others have commented on the same thing I am experiencing: the integrity of this windshield is so weak that within a couple months (sometimes just a few days) of having the vehicle, you can get multiple chips or cracks. On my last chip, I was driving on a Michigan highway at least 30 yards from other vehicles when something chipped my windshield. I've had the windshield chip while going 65mph on the high way, and also while my vehicle was at a standstill at a red light and the car in front of me pulled away quickly, kicking up debris. People often comment that they cannot afford to constantly keep up with the unending number of repairs needed to fix the windshield. As a result, they're driving with reduced visibility which impacts all drivers on the road. ADAS is built into the windshield- if cracks/chips occur in this area, the ADAS can become compromised. The windshield also contributes to the strength of the vehicle in rollovers- lack of stuctural integrtiy due to cracks/chips impacts that. Being an SUV that sits higher, the Bronco Sport is more prone to rollovers that lower sitting vehicles. Because the cost of replacing the windshield through Ford is so high (over $1000) many opt not to replace it or use a non OEM, aftermarket windshield which might not work as well with safety systems. This issue has been inspected by a Safelite auto glass technician - he remarked that this is extremely common with the Bronco Sport, this vehicle is one of the most common models he repairs. This component is available for inspection upon request.

Summary
I was driving on the interstate and while going up the hill at 70 mph my engine seized up and died on me. I was able to get it to the side of the road and get it towed. This happened in February of 2023. Had it towed to two different service shops. The first one, Roush Honds in Westerville, said the engine was dead and could not get it to turn. The Auto Clinic in Mansfield, Ohio said the same thing saying the engine seized up and it was an internal failure of the engine. They replaced my engine with a used Honda engine. With all these recalls and investigations on Honda engines, I believe that this is what was going on with my pilot engine. Also I am worried I could have the same problem with the used engine that was put in as a replacement.

Front Control Interface Module failure resulting in unresponsive climate controls and audio. The issue starts with the audio stopping, followed by the HVAC turning off and then followed by defrosters turning on full blast. No warning prior to these turning off. HUGE safety issue with the heater turning on FULL BLAST, baking anyone inside the vehicle. I have had the issue for several years without any true solutions.

Summary
I own a 2016 Honda Pilot Elite and I was driving it in March of 2024 when my engine started making a low ticking sound, after about 2 weeks it gradually got louder and louder. It felt like it didn't want to accelerate, meaning it took more force down on the pedal to get it to drive. This issue closely resembles Audi recall campaign 97CB (NHTSA campaign ID 16V642000), with details available at [XXX] . In my case, the marker light itself is functioning properly, but the vehicle is displaying a false error message: "Front Right Side Marker Light Defective." This poses safety risks because the erroneous warning distracts drivers from the road and could lead to the system failing to alert the driver of an actual side marker light issue in the future. Many owners of the same model and year are disabling their side marker lights entirely to avoid the error, as evidenced in discussions such as those on [XXX] . Repairing this issue typically requires replacing the entire headlight assembly, with costs ranging from $2,400 to $5,300, making it prohibitively expensive for many. Although Audi initiated a recall (97CB) for a similar issue, it was limited to a specific subset of vehicles, and the widespread nature of this problem in other vehicles outside the recall’s VIN range suggests a broader defect. Given these safety risks, high repair costs, and the frequency of the issue, I urge the NHTSA to investigate whether this problem warrants a broader recall or corrective actions by the manufacturer.

Summary
I have the RNS510 radio which the NHTSA has received concerns about and there are several Tec Bulletins in regards to the radio not functioning properly. When this radio goes out due to the need of over priced software update, we loose our Bluetooth and backup cameras! Backup camera we installed so the drive could make sure they were not running over any small children on the ground and when that element fails and it falls on deaf ears here to make them fix that and their know faulty cameras, is the NHTSA going to take responsibility for the dead child that wasn’t yours so you would be looking as closely for one but if the know faulty system actually worked that child had a better chance of being alive because you can see your surroundings. There is a Service bulletin supporting the pictures below. Mine just stopped loading tried to upload the software that I bought from the dealership and bricked the whole system!! It will now drain my battery if the fuse is in. Since this has been neglected to be addressed for many years, I am just wondering who within the NHTSA is being paid off by VW and maybe we need to start writing our representatives hoping for a change because clearly VW knows it’s a problem and it’s been reported.

Due to my 2019 ford fiesta SE back up camera glitching in and out and sometimes doesn’t work at all. Today it finally worked as I was backing up out of food lion parking lot. A mother and child were walking behind me all of a sudden the camera glitched and if I had not checked my review mirror quickly. I could have backed up over that small child on his tricycle. Please hurry and come up with an effective solid fix. If a teenager has these vehicles, somebody could really get hurt. Summary
It's a problem that occurs when my Acadia fails to recognize that the gear shifter is in the park position. As a result, the car doesn't fully shut down, leaving the engine running. Unable to shut down vehicle if shift doesn't fully activate brake notice, and could be a safety issue if it truly doesn't park. I have not taken the vehicle to a dealer or services to have the problem reproduced yet. It also has not been inspected yet, however, after doing research online, GMC did put a recall notifying owners that this may be a problem in vehicles from years 2017-2021. When I place the shifter into park, the car does not recognize it, and alerts me to put it into parking. It started appearing 2 months ago.
