Summary
Vehicle: 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. Approximately 25,300 miles On Saturday 9/12/26 while driving at highway speeds the following message displayed "Stop Safely, Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon". When the message displayed the check engine light illuminated as well as the limp mode light. In limp mode the vehicle reduced speed rapidly and would not accelerate above 20 MPH. This happened at highway speeds on a multilane highway. We were able to get to the shoulder, but it was very dangerous changing lanes in limp mode. Turning the vehicle on and off several times cleared errors except the check engine light. We were able to get off the highway and get home without the message or limp mode triggering again. The check engine light stayed illuminated for 24 hours and went off when I refueled the vehicle the next day. For the next week I drove at local speeds with no issues. On Saturday 9/19/26 the vehicle would not start. This is a plugin hybrid and was fully charged. The electric motor would not start, and the check engine light illuminated again. I turned the vehicle off/on 3 times to get it to start. I did my errand and returned home. When I returned home, I turned the vehicle off then on again and the check engine light cleared. On Tuesday 9/21/26 I dropped the vehicle off for service, getting there without issue. The dealership stated the transmission will need to be rebuilt. Problem code is P0A43-00. This is the SECOND transmission failure since ownership. I've had the vehicle serviced only at the dealer where purchased. The dealership confirmed the FIRST incident with the same problem code was diagnosed on 1/30/24. The transmission was replaced at this time. The van had 12,134 miles. The 2024 incident also was triggered at highway speeds. If my memory is correct, I believe I reported the first incident to the nthsb at the time.

I am reporting an intermittent transmission/shifting issue that has not been resolved despite multiple visits to the dealership. On several occasions, when shifting my vehicle from Park into Drive or Reverse, the vehicle will not engage the selected gear and remains in Park. When this happens, the vehicle is not drivable until I place it back in Park, shut the engine off, and restart it. After restarting, the transmission will usually engage normally. I have reported this issue to the dealership multiple times. The dealership has connected diagnostic equipment to the vehicle; however, no diagnostic trouble codes have been stored, and they have been unable to identify the cause. Despite the lack of codes, the problem continues to occur intermittently. My concern is that this issue could create a safety hazard if the vehicle fails to engage a gear when needed, such as when entering traffic, leaving a parking area, or attempting to move the vehicle out of a dangerous situation. The fact that the vehicle only operates properly after being shut off and restarted suggests a possible defect within the shifting, transmission, or electronic control system. I am requesting that this complaint be documented and investigated, as the issue remains unresolved and may affect other vehicles of the same make and model.

My 2021 jeep wrangler Sahara 4xe has had numerous EV battery issues. I have asked recalls to be fixed. It has had its battery replaced under a federal safety recall, still refuses to charge, and caused home charger to no longer to work. It has been in the shop since 8/11/26 and they are unable to get it to charge. This is a safety hazard. Issues with the EV battery/electrical system started back in 2021 after purchasing vehicle. Most recent issue with frying my home charging unit and not charging started in July of 2026.

Steering wheel was uncontrollable and locked when suddenly driver assist turned on automatically. Vehicle was driving on a regular road speed limit of 30-35 miles zone which caused a collision. The transmission in my Kia Sorento intermittently does not engage when shifting from park to drive. It will take 5 to 10 seconds for the gear to engage. When this occurs, the car is free-wheeling and will roll away. This is especially dangerous if you are on a slope or hill. I of course am applying the brake when shifting out of park, but their is no warning or indication that the transmission is, or isn't engaged. I have mentioned this problem when visiting the Kia dealer, but no action was taken.
