It is available for inspection, but has not been inspected by a professional. There is an active case opened with Graco, the manufacturer. The issue that we're experiencing is that the straps are coming loose mid-drive. When I picked my son up from daycare and drove him home (which is roughly a 30-minute drive), I arrived in the driveway and found him suspend by the straps, the straps completely loose, his head almost touching his toes. Luckily, he was okay and there had been no major breaking on the way home. When looking at the car seat, my husband and I noticed that there is no guard over the button that loosens the straps to put the baby in. As my son is now [XXX] old, he is practicing sitting up. When he kicks his feet on top of the padding exactly above the strap release button and leans forward in the car seat against the straps to practice sitting up, this loosens the straps (I have a video demonstrating the issue upon request). I suspect on the day that I found him in the backseat hanging by the straps, he kicked loose the straps, tired himself out, fell asleep and then at some point when I came to a red light, the slowing of the car caused him to fall forward. Luckily, he was okay but this design seems unsafe. It's also possible that many parents are experiencing this but the straps only come slightly loose because the baby leans forward AND kicks the button at the same time only a couple of times and then kicks in a different spot or calms down before the straps become dramatically loosened. In this case, parents may dismiss this as human error when in fact the baby's actions (kicking the button and leaning against the straps at the same time) lined up briefly to only cause minor loosening. I was driving my truck on a highway in [XXX]. I was going 70 MPH when we crossed over a bridge. The pavement was lower than the bridge cement. that cause the truck to have a slight bump when crossing over it. That cause the entire truck to begin a violent shaking (death wobble). it was very hard to control the truck. I had to step on the brakes very hard to slow down almost completely on the highway to stop the shaking. all the other traffic was trying to avoid my truck. fortunately no accidents occurred. I've spent $4000. dollars to try to fix the problem. Every time the Ford dealership says there is nothing else they can do. My 2022 Honda Accord has an ongoing issue with the infotainment touchscreen making selections on its own without being touched, commonly referred to as “ghost touch.” The screen randomly presses buttons, changes menus, changes audio/settings, and interferes with Apple CarPlay and normal touchscreen operation. The issue occurs repeatedly and can be very distracting while driving because the screen operates on its own and requires attention to correct or stop it. Restarting the system does not permanently resolve the problem. I am reporting this because it creates a driver-distraction/safety concern and I would like the issue documented and investigated.

On several occasions, my 2025 Honda Ridgeline has falsely activated the collision mitigation system. Once on a two lane road curving to the right, an oncoming vehicle activated the system resulting in a startling shaking of the steering wheel and dash warning light. I would say about 80 percent of activation has been false alarms in one way or another. This is a safety issue when this collision mitigation system activates unexpectedly, startling the driver. I worry this system may apply the brakes when unnecessary, but this has not happened to me. I have heard it happened to other Ridgeline owners.

On 8/28/2026, my Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 (W166, M276 engine) experienced a sudden, catastrophic engine stall while driving in active traffic. There was no Check Engine Light (CEL), dashboard warning, or mechanical hesitation prior to the failure. The vehicle instantly lost all propulsion, power steering, and power braking assist, creating an extreme crash hazard and requiring immense physical effort to maneuver the dead vehicle off the roadway. Independent diagnostic teardown by a module specialist confirmed the root cause: an unrepairable internal short circuit between the internal PCB layers of the Engine Control Unit (ECU). Because Mercedes-Benz chose to mount this sensitive electronic module directly to the top of the hot engine block, it is subjected to extreme thermal cycling and vibration. This predictable thermal degradation causes the internal board layers to delaminate and short out. When this internal short occurs, the ECU instantly dies and shuts down the entire vehicle without warning. This is a severe, life-threatening engineering defect. A safety investigation is urgently needed to address the mounting location and thermal failure rate of M276 ECUs before a sudden high-speed stall results in a fatal collision.
