Summary
The contact owns a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while depressing the brake pedal, the transmission would downshift, and the vehicle was aggressively shaking while idling and while depressing the brake pedal. While driving approximately 35 - 40 MPH, the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Service message was displayed, and the check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact was able to pull over to the side of the road, the vehicle was turned off for a while and then restarted to continue driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed that the crankshaft, bearings, and tie rods needed to be replaced due to engine failure. The engine was rebuilt and the vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 86,636.

Summary
While turning slowly, right tun, into a parking space, the vehicle lunged forward at a much higher speed than anticipated. The vehicle jumped the sidewalk, went up an embankment, about 20 degrees, and about 25 feet until it stopped on its own. Happened on April 14th, 2025, about 11:30 am. Driver was is good health, no medical conditions. Driver also has a clean driving record, no infarctions. The vehicle jumped a curb 4 inches high, ran over some light brush, but luckily no damage to vehicle. There are train tracks about 15 feet away, which could have been another incident. Driver says when she slowly pulled into the spot, the car lunged forward, with good thrust, and I am a witness to this incident.

I have a 2022 Mercedes Sprinter with the M274 engine. At approximately 139,100 miles the check engine light came on and my driver was stranded on [XXX] . I took the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City South for diagnosis. I was told that the #4 piston cracked and scored the engine wall. I was quoted $23,820.12 to replace the engine long block. When I asked about trading the vehicle in, they offered me $2,000 for it if I was willing to purchase another vehicle from them. I did some research and there is currently a class-action lawsuit for this exact issue. In reading the comments of various class-action lawsuit websites, this seems to be a manufacturing issue that Mercedes knows about, but is doing nothing to fix the issue. Summary
All Recalls for 2015 jeep Cherokee 2.4 wasn’t done properly and caused more damage. Transaxle harness, pscm, maniverter and more caused engine damage to block, which was supposed to be replaced during recall for oil consumption. Now dealer is wanting to charge me for damages pertaining to recalls and new engine block that wasn’t replaced during xb1 and x80 recall warranty. I was almost hit on highway from vehicle stalling out at highspeed and maniverter turning red from 20 minutes of driving from picking up from dealer after u90 recall was supposedly fixed. Constant dash notifications of throttle and shifter as well. I’ve already contacted legal advice and I just want my vehicle running properly, new vehicle or compensation. Everything on this vehicle needs replaced dealing with faulty pcm tcm bcm ecu pscm all harnesses practically entire vehicle.

Summary
Jeep Owner's manual explains how to setup the vehicle for flat towing behind an RV. Following those instructions, the vehicle does not track well. I've experienced this going through turns. Others report what they call a 'death wobble' while traveling at highway speeds. That's what worries me. I don't want to lose control at highway speed. Jeep dealers just repeat the manual's instructions, but it doesn't solve anything.

Summary
There is a whining noise coming from the power train/transmission. It only happens when the accelerator pedal is pressed. We had a couple of mechanics look at it. The transmission oil was changed twice, with the vehicle less than 78,000 miles. Neither mechanic can find any issue with any other item, including the engine. The noise still persists. There are no warning lights on. We have researched the web. Toyota is aware of the problem and has replaced some transmissions still under warranty. They have issues a TSB (TSB008-21) in February 2021, but did not issue a recall or notify owners of a potential problem.
