Summary
The primary Dashboard of the vehicle stopped working (while driving the car) and i lost access to all important information such as speed, RPM, current cruise setting, milage, visual alerts for any driver assistance warnings. The entire screen went black and showed “NO SIGNAL” in red text in the middle. It later came back after a few minutes. This issue has occurred 5 times so far and 4 of them being while driving the car within 1 week. The dealer is confirmed this is an issue and recommended an entire dashboard replacement for the vehicle. This is very unsafe because i cannot determine my speed or any other important warnings the vehicle may give me during my drive. There were no warnings or symptoms prior to the first failure.

My daughter was driving my 2016 Honda Pilot EX when loud rattling noise came from engine compartment. The vehicle lost power and display warning lights came on. She pulled over and shut off the vehicle since the rattling noise was very loud. Vehicle was towed to an independent shop and the technician from the shop confirmed engine malfunction and found large metal bits in the oil. I had the vehicle towed to Honda of Stevens Creek, San Jose, California. Technician also confirmed metal chunks in my vehicle oil. Brian the service advisor from the dealer told me that my VIN number is not part of the recall. I informed him of Honda's recall number XG1 and GGO, but he said he has to follow the VIN number and cannot include my vehicle's engine as a recall issue. Even though the recall article mentioned 2016 and 2018-2019 Pilot in NHTSA recall no. 23V858000.

I was in another town and my car kept stalling. I was going across traffic and it stalled and almost caused an accident. When I was in a parking lot my car would not go in reverse. I had to be pushed out of the parking space. I have already went to the have this recall fixed once. While getting ready to parallel park the car, the entire screen system (dashboard, center console) went completely blank. This completely eliminates visibility to all safety aids, speed of vehicle, and warning systems. This has happened with this specific vehicle in the past, and the vehicle has been updated by Honda dealership. it has not been brought to a dealer quite yet. 7/17/26 about 8pm my Tesla Model Y backed into a wall under FSD (full self driving). The vehicle was placed into FSD to assist in backing the car from a narrow street into a garage space. Wall on one side and another SUV parked on the driver side. Driver was monitoring the vehicle maneuver forward and backward attempting to clear the wall so it can back into the space. The vehicle appeared to be close to the wall and I anticipated the vehicle to inch forward but instead the car went backwards into the wall and caused damage to my vehicle. The vehicle should have stopped and asked the driver to take over or alarms/chimes. The fsd system failed to recognize that the right rear would not clear the wall and still proceeded to reverse and cause damages
