Summary
The left front turn signal becomes inoperable at times. The foreword collision indicator warning will come on unprovoked at times. Both conditions correct when you cycle the ignition switch. I consider the turn signal problem a safety issue because it happens with no warning and oncoming traffic may not know I am turning left or changing lanes. When the foreword indicator appears, I doubt the system is operable.

Summary
The skid plate came off. It’s fabric screwed in by metal so it rips off over time. I know and have seen many other Ford owners who have experienced this same problem. It’s a hazard and a concern that will keep occurring if you replace it with the same fabric and it’s costly to replace with a metal skid plate. It’s a manufacturing problem that should be recalled.

Honda sensing error codes started lighting up all of a sudden. My HRV has never been in any kind of minor or major accident. We bought it new back in 2019. It currently has 13424 miles. Summary
When vehicle is completely stopped at a traffic light there have been numerous occasions in which all electrical components fail and the vehicle turns off and fails to restart. This only occurs when the auto idle start is engaged. A few times I’ve had to completely jump the vehicle. I have replaced the battery and also had the car examined at the dealership. They stated they had previously updated the system, had heard of other instances of the same issue but since it wasn’t under recall and they couldn’t replicate the issue they couldn’t do anything. This has proved to be extremely dangerous because at rest, without being able to restart when the light turns green my family and I are at risk of being severely rear ended at high speeds.

Summary
The driver's side (left front) door failed at the check-arm attachment point inside the door assembly: the spot welds securing the check-arm reinforcement bracket to the inner door structure cracked and separated. The vehicle is a commercial fleet 2022 Ford Maverick XL SuperCrew with approx. 82,000 miles. The vehicle and failed component are available for inspection upon request. First symptoms were difficulty opening and closing the door with popping/cracking noises. No warning lamps or messages occurred; the failure is concealed inside the door. This is a safety risk because the check arm attachment supports the door's structure. The same weld separation on related vehicles has been documented by NHTSA (investigation PE23-013) to cause doors that fail to latch, fail to stay closed, or open while driving, risking occupant ejection and injury. The failure was confirmed 7/17/2026 by Grapevine Collision Center (Grapevine, TX) after a Ford dealership stated there is no recall or warranty coverage for the Maverick and referred me there. The shop diagnosed broken check-arm welds and quoted $2,602.46 for a door shell replacement, noting it has seen this identical failure on Ford Escapes and Lincoln Corsairs. Not inspected by Ford, police, or insurance. This is the same failure mode NHTSA investigated on 2020-2021 Escapes (PE23-013), which Ford addressed via Customer Satisfaction Program 23B56 covering 2020-2023 Escapes. The Maverick shares the same C2 platform and door design but is excluded, leaving owners to pay out of pocket for a defect Ford repairs free on sibling vehicles.

Summary
As I was backing out of the driveway I heard a strange noise and the steering started feeling crunchy. I parked the car and when I got out I saw a very large bolt on the ground that appears to have dropped out of the car. This seems to be the same issue as described in safety recall 23V-235. Tesla is saying my vin isn’t included and not covered despite the safety recall expiring including this manufacturing date range.
