This seems to be an on going problem for many Honda owners according to the forums. My Adaptive Cruise Control, lane keeping assistant, collision mitigation, road departure mitigation, and auto high beams have all gone out after going to the car wash. Was driving down the road and the brakes stopped working and the the brake light the traction light and abs light came on. The brakes only worked if i put the pedal all the way to the floor after that. I checked online and found numerous other people have had this issue but no recall has ever been done. only nhtsa safety notices and a volunteered customer support program by toyota which was no longer being honored because I was passed the 10 year mark even though my vehicle was still under the 150k mile threshold by toyota. I wish your organization would force toyota to do a full recall on this. this is a dangerous safety issue involving a defective brake booster and master cylinder

Summary
On 4/17/25 at approximately 450pm eastern standard time the information hub on the dash indicated a door fault alarm and as i was turning left the doors unlocked and the passenger side door opened causing the passenger to almost fall out of the vehicle. If the passenger would have not had his seat belt on he would have fell out of the vehicle and potentailly been run over. I am worried about driving tbe vehicle as this sitiation could cause serious injury and cause a vehicle accident and loss of life.

The contact owns a 2023 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving 45 MPH, the vehicle shut off and the wheels locked up unexpectedly. The check engine warning light was illuminated, with the message “Service Soon” displayed. The contact towed the vehicle to a dealer however, the dealer was unable to determine the cause of the failure, but the battery was replaced. On another occasion, the contact took the vehicle to a different dealer, and the engine block was replaced because it was cracked. The vehicle was not repaired after the most recent failure. The contact stated that the failure was now more frequent and occurred more whenever it rained. There is an issue with my steering. There is a cranking/clicking noise and the wheel gets stuck when turning or switching lanes. There was a recall for the steering gear box but I my car wasn’t part not included but not sure why. I took it to the dealer when I first got it but they couldn’t mimic it. It’s not safe when driving if I can’t fully control the steering wheel. I took it to a mechanic who stated the issue was the gear box but was hoping I was part of the recall. No warnings just gradually sticking more and cranking more.

In 2023 my vehicle’s engine seized without warning. I had brought it to the dealership in Jan 2023 to replace a recalled issue. After that my vehicle had started acting strange, prompting us to bring it in where they noticed it was extremely low on oil and “dirty” where it shouldnt be. They performed tests and required us to drive 1k miles to see how low the oil would be once brought back in, it did not make it back to the service department by the 1k miles as it completely failed beforehand with no warning light.
