I was sitting at a stop light and my vehicle completely failed without any warning. Was not able to start, etc. it was completely dead. There was no notice of issues or problems; no messages, no lights, etc. The vehicle had to be towed to a dealer and has been sitting for over 5 weeks waiting for a new motor. I was told that there is no timeline for when a new motor will be available and that it could be months! I travel with my vehicle for work so it is really needed!

Summary
Low beam projector bulb prematurely fails. Replaced under warranty and failed again. Due to dynamic bending feature dealer recommended replacing entire assembly at a cost of $1500. High beam and dynamic bending works, just low beam out of service. Seems like a less costly option to replace LED bulb. Online research lead to other owners reporting similar failures and replacement cost. Some owners replaced control module which fixed the issue, so it is possible that this is controller fault. But a non-working headlight is a safety issue as well as traffic violation. Is this an issue for this agency?

Engine loss of power - engine failure. My vehicle was serviced regularly with Ford dealership. Just weeks after an oil change at dealership I had sudden catastrophic engine failure. They found metal in my oil and stated my engine had failed due to faulty pump. I contacted ford dealership and customer service center, and they refused to repair as I was about 125864 miles (25k over warranty) on a truck they told me would last 400k with proper Maintenace. I have been making my monthly payments on this large paperweight and now there is a recall, and I still cannot get ford to repair the vehicle

Summary
Each time gas tank is filled completely, there is a strong fuel smell that lasts for a couple days. recently vehicle was parked facing down an incline after a recent fill and gasoline smell became very strong and an oily (shiny rainbow) slick noted leaking from under where the vehicle was parked. I believe this indicates that there is damage to the fuel tank near the top of the tank. I have started filling the tank 2/3 only and do not have the gas smell with that. Have had the vehicle for about 10 months and noticed the smell the first time I filled with gas, but did not suspect it was caused by a leak until recently. There is an "emissions system" error on dash. No issues with vehicle performance / operation.

Summary
Turn signal does not cancel. Intermittent problem that occurs infrequently. Safety concern because turn signal may signal for one direction when driving the car to the opposite direction. I am reluctant to pay about $250 to dealer to diagnoise because issue is intermittent. Dealer refuses to note complaint on customer records without diagnosis. I called customer care and reported issue, 4/15/25 case # 92675100. Customer care requested to have dealer diagnose, but I explained that issue is intermittent and difficult to reproduce.

Summary
Car throws a B1018 DTC, which is for the passenger seat occupancy sensor. The seat occupancy sensor failing poses a major safety risk, as it causes the airbags to not deploy properly in the event of a crash. This is a very well known issue for the 2011-2012 LEAF, and the only option Nissan gives to fix this is a full seat replacement, which is cost prohibitive at over $3000. Previously, a recall was issued for 2013-2016 LEAFs for a similar issue, but the 2011-2012 was not included in that recall.

Summary
I was driving in traffic and it was bumper to bumper. I had to keep going into first, move a little then stop for several miles. Coming out of the [XXX], heading up the hill, I started to smell burning, the clutch then pinned to the floor and I was stuck in first gear, and the vehicle shut off, not overheating warning, nothing. I was able to start the vehicle after a few moments and then got it t the shoulder, had it towed and I was told the clutch pressure plate was fractured and a whole new transmission would need installed if the flywheel isn't damaged. It wont be serviced until March 28th or 29th and then I will know if a $2500 dollar fix turns into a $5000.00 dollar fix. 54 thousand miles on this and it drove fine in traffic like this before and had no issues with it shifting or anything until this day. They say there is a recall on the Renegade specifically NHTSA20V-124 involving renegades with 6 speed manual transmissions. I couldn't get any help from Chrysler, the recall information center but this information is out on the web. Next is lemon law attorney. Summary
I've taken my 2021 Yukon Denali to GMC dealers complaining of "clacking" noise coming from the passenger side of the engine on 3 occasions. Each time, they tell me that they do not hear anything. Now, I see that the L87 engine has defective bearings which could lead to abrupt engine failure which could lead to a dangerous situation. I envision power sliding on the highway going 70 mph and ultimately rolling over and getting killed. I am now frightened to travel on the highway and see no resolution forthcoming from GM. They are just looking at $. My wife and I are [XXX] and travel to Florida from Wisconsin every year for winter. The Yukon to me was the most expensive, ni est vehicle that I have ever owned, but now feel like I could die anytime while driving it. Who would want to buy it now with this cloud over it, all hinging on how GM handles this mess. I've only owned GM products my whole life, but would never buy another now.
