Summary
Mild hybrid vehicle that was purchased 4/20/2026. Volvo service states incident on 06/10/2026 was caused by vehicle running overnight in enclosed garage. Volvo also states that cause was due to item inserted into drivers seatbelt buckle. No warnings posted regarding this would cause the vehicle to turn on once car was parked and driver door shut and run continuously throughout the night in an enclosed garage. Volvo claims every time the driver door is opened, it shuts the engine off. This is not true! And this situation proves that. Vehicle still currently at dealers to be repaired so unsure if components are available for inspection. Components damaged are: Midvoltage battery, midvoltage Converter module, starter generator module, 12v battery. The vehicle became extremely hot and would have caught on fire had our smoke/co detector not gone off. CO was detected in house and garage. Volvo refusing to take any accountability for this situation and refusing to provide me the documentation for the findings of my vehicle.

The car randomly has inoperable wipers. Both in auto and non auto mode. Doesn’t happen every time but it has happened to my family on rainy days. The back wipers work fine. We took the car to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong, they blamed it on my cars window tint. Which makes no sense considering it’s not functioning in the non-auto position. After doing my own research it seems to be that multiple other owners have had similar issues, yet no recall has been issued.

the gas cap O ring recall was repaired previously by Casey Subaru of Newport News, VA. (I live in [XXX], purchased the vehicle in [XXX] at Ourisman Subaru) I filled my gas tank the night before this leak occurred. I noticed the smell of gasoline in my car at approximately 08 AM on the way to work. It was mild No obvious exterior leak. I drove my 25 commute to Williamsburg, Va. Upon leaving work I noticed a strong smell of gasoline inside the vehicle. Inspection of the exterior revealed an obvious gas leak (the fuel door to the gas cap was not opened at this time). the paint was wet and the paint adjacent to the plastic guard on the bumper side had bubbled due to the leak. The outside temperature was nearing 100 with a heat index of 105. I drove the vehicle to the dealership in Newport News (not aware I should have had it towed due to the leak). It has not been driven since. The fuel door was opened and there was an obvious leak as the well in the gas cap space was wet and the odor of gasoline was very strong. Summary
There is a recall associated with this model that causes catastrophic stoppage without any ability to drive. My vehicle VIN does not have a recall according to your site. Despite this, my vehicle catastrophically stopped multiple times. It was repaired at least three times and still stopped in the middle of the highway. My partner and I were stopped on I-85S with no ability to move, honk, put on hazards. Cars zoomed past at full speed. I called 911 as we braced for impact. We are lucky to be alive and now suffer from severe trauma. They eventually closed the entire highway and dragged the vehicle to the shoulder almost 30 min later. Mbusa was aware of this defect before rejecting my lemon law claim, but my vehicle was not included apparently. I feel more investigation is needed because it seems very likely my vehicle should be included in the recall. I appreciate your attention to this matter.

Me and my 2 children and my husband were traveling to Springfield Mo . We had stopped for some snacks at Dollar general . When we all go back in the vehicle . My husband tried to start our truck he was turning the key over and over and it just wasn’t starting . Here it is 95 degrees outside with 2 small children and our truck is our only transportation . So my husband explained to AI what issue we were having and it said an issue with our Powertrain Control Module . The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is your vehicle's central computer, effectively serving as its brain. It combines the functions of the Engine Control Module (ECM) and Transmission Control Module (TCM) to manage how your car moves, continually monitoring data like fuel-to-air ratios, ignition timing, and gear shifts. Ai explained to us to disconnect our negative terminal to our battery and wait a few minutes and everything would reset . After waiting we were finally able to start our truck . After we got home I called a dodge dealership near me and asked them to look up any recalls on our vehicle and they said none active . This is a safety issue because the last thing I need is to have our only vehicle stuck on the side with two small children in 95° weather heat stuck on the side of the road somewhere. Please we need to make known that this is a safety issue so no one including myself has this issue with their 2021 Laramie 1500 truck . Thank you , I am a concerned mother

Component/System: Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) / Airbag Occupancy Classification System — Passenger Side What Happened: The airbag/SRS warning light illuminated on my 2018 Infiniti Q60 (VIN [XXX], 102,388 miles). The vehicle was taken to Sewell Infiniti of Dallas ([XXX]) for diagnosis. The technician performed a diagnostic scan and found fault code B00A0-00 related to the passenger seat occupancy classification system. The technician performed a relearn and reset procedure on the occupancy sensor (Step 1 of the progressive repair protocol, at a cost of $143.99). The relearn procedure failed. The technician confirmed the control units are functioning correctly but that the seat sensors have failed and only come with the new passenger front seat frame assembly. The technician also identified a fault code for the right front seat belt buckle switch located inside the passenger front seat belt buckle, which was found during the relearn attempt. The buckle is currently functional but the fault code is present. Sewell Infiniti confirmed the final repair required is replacement of the passenger front seat frame assembly at a quoted cost of $7,948.69, which includes the occupancy classification sensor and the seat belt buckle switch. This repair has not yet been authorized or completed. The vehicle is currently being driven with the airbag warning light illuminated and the occupancy sensor fault unresolved. Is the component available for inspection? Yes. The vehicle is in my possession and available for inspection upon request. How Safety Was Put at Risk: The passenger seat occupancy classification system is a critical component of the supplemental restraint system. Its function is to detect whether a passenger is present in the front passenger seat and to classify the occupant appropriately so that the airbag control module can determine whether and how to deploy the passenger frontal airbag in a collision. What component failed: The “regen on demand” switch broke while using it. Safety: This incident put me, the occupants of my vehicle (my children), and the vehicles around me at risk. Reproduction: There was no need. It is exceptional obvious that the switch is broken and has failed. Inspection: The truck and broken switch were observed by the dealership that services the truck. Warnings: There were no precursors to the failure. Narrative: On Thursday, 7/16/26, I was driving my 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV. I normally drive in “single pedal drive” mode which provides energy recovery in lieu of mechanical braking. Additionally, I use the “on demand regeneration” for additional slowing and energy recovery. On demand regeneration is somewhere between single pedal drive and mechanical brakes. During this drive I was coming up to stopped traffic and slowing using the regen on demand switch. The switch snapped / broke and the additional slowing / energy recovery stopped instantly. I had to immediately apply the brakes in order to remain a safe distance from the vehicles in front of me. While I am able to safely operate the vehicle without this function, the manner in which the failure occurred is concerning and should be investigated. I am happy to speak with anyone who needs more information.

Summary
I am filing a Recall Remedy Failure complaint regarding NHTSA Recall No. 26V-363 for my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. This safety recall was issued in June 2026 due to a fire risk that can occur while the vehicle is parked. Despite the recall having been announced, the recall status continues to state, “Recall incomplete, remedy not yet available.” I have contacted Stellantis on multiple occasions and have consistently been informed that no repair remedy is available, no replacement parts have been released, and there is no estimated timeline for when the defect will be corrected. The manufacturer and dealership has been unable to provide any meaningful interim safety measures or alternative solution. Because this defect involves a potential vehicle fire, I have been unable to safely use or park the vehicle. A reasonable amount of time has passed since the recall was announced, yet the manufacturer has still failed to provide a remedy as required under the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate this matter as a Recall Remedy Failure and take appropriate enforcement action. I am also requesting that the manufacturer be required to provide an appropriate remedy, including a vehicle buyback if it is unable to remedy the safety defect within the timeframe required by federal law.
