Summary
On more than five occasions, the engine shut off without warning and the emergency brake and battery light came on. All instances occurred when I was slowing down at a stop sign or attempting to turn. I have taken my truck to at least 3 differend dealerships regarding the issues. The Horne dealership in Show Low, AZ, connected a code reader and stated it could be the eco battery system and if I drove the truck more it would most likely recharge on its own. They further stated it was a low etorque battery system malfunction. No paperwork was initiated. The Jim Marsh dealership in Las Vegas, stated they knew what the probem was and it would be 10 days to get the part in to make the repair. They gave me a rental car under my Mopar warranty and sent me on my way as I was out of state. The next day they called me and stated it was fixed and put in a new standard battery (which I paid for) and not the etorque battery. One month later the same thing occurred. The engine shut off again without warning. I'm in the process of taking it back to my local dealership.

On three separate occasions when I open my door, I get a “brake fault service soon” notification. I’ve done research and forums say this was a recall in the past. I was driving approximately 45 MPH and my 2023 Yukon STOPPED completely and it would not move at all, it stopped just into where the intersection starts. After 2 hours it was towed to the GMC dealership. I am now told that it needs a new engine at just 15,000 miles. Apparently this is a “thing” I had no warning whatsoever. The dealership has it now and it is waiting on a new engine. Extremes scary and now they said they will put a new one in and it “shouldn’t happen again”. Ridiculous Engines are on back order for at least 60 days because of this problem I’m told.

Started my car up then put it in drive, when my traction control light turned on, and my power steering assist light also turned on my dashboard as I was driving out of my on street parking spot. I lost all power to my steering wheel , and was unable to turn it so I could attempt to safely move back over to far right lane, as I was in downtown traffic. This is so scary and terrifying. It's my second car ever which I worked really hard for. I tried to turn car off, and restart it like Google said, but it was the same loss of steering. The car is sitting at my parents house.
