Our engineering department has identified the modules as having the date code of 0919. Solution: We have designed a jumper harness that can be quickly installed to protect the circuit on these modules. Identification / Action Required: Buses received between July 1, 2021 and February 28, 2022 may have a PRC module with the suspect date code. If you have received buses within this time frame, please examine the PRC modules to see if they are marked with the 0919 date code. This can be easily identified by looking under the red “Do Not Drop” label on the module. See pictures below. If you have any PRC modules with the 0919 date codes, please contact our Warranty department (Jesse Jennings at JJennings@Intermotive.net or at 530-823-1048 x103) between the hours of 7am and 4pm PT, M-F. We will send you a free jumper harness and installation instructions for any affected modules you identify. We apologize for any inconvenience. This condition may lead to property damage, personal injury or a crash. WHAT IS FOREST RIVER AND OUR DEALERSHIPS GOING TO DO? Forest River is notifying dealerships of the recall. You may have the recall corrected at any Forest River dealership. The remedy will be to install a wire jumper harness. It is preferable if you have your selling dealership perform the remedy. Forest River completely covers your cost for the remedy; you will not receive any bill of sale for anything covered under the above recall number. WHAT SHOULD YOU DO? Please contact your dealer immediately and request a service appointment to schedule the free remedy. The vehicle Owner is responsible for arranging to have the work completed. Please state you have been notified by Forest River of having a recall in process for your vehicle and provide the recall number for the dealership. It is also helpful to the dealership to have a copy of this letter when you take your vehicle in for the recall remedy. You may also visit www.forestriverinc.com for dealer locations. On 1/21/2022, Forest Rivers Recall Committee was notified. On 1/25/2022, Forest Rivers Office of Corporate compliance filed a safety recall. Description of Remedy : Description of Remedy Program : Forest River will provide all parts and labor free of charge to Consumers and Dealers. An authorized Forest River dealer or service center will need to perform the remedy to install a wire jumper harness.
