Supreme Corporation has decided that certain model year 2019-2020 Supreme Signature Van truck bodies equipped with certain Maxon GPTLR and GPTWR liftgates that are subject to NHTSA recall number 20E-035. Our records indicate that your vehicle(s) identified above may be affected. Supreme is conducting a safety recall to address this condition. What is the Issue? Certain Supreme truck bodies were equipped with a Maxon Liftgate that are subject to NHTSA recall number 20E-035. According to Maxon, the license plate light kit installed on your vehicle could possibly not illuminate the license plate in compliance with federal regulation. This condition could lead to potential confusion to other drivers on the road, increasing the risk of a crash. On November 3, 2021, Wabash National identified three additional affected liftgates installed in its products using additional data provided by Maxon on November 3. November 4, 2021 Wabash National submitted its 573 recall report.
