Incorrect Tire Size and PSI Information/FMVSS 120
Incorrect tire size information could result in the wrong tires being installed. Incorrect PSI information could lead to over or under inflating the tires. Both instances increase the risk of a crash.

Summary
Cruiser RV (Cruiser) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Avenir trailers. The Federal Certification labels are missing the tire size and correct PSI. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, “Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars.”
Remedy
Cruiser will mail new certification labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed May 15, 2024. Owners may contact Cruiser customer service at 1-574-562-3500.

Description of the Safety Risk : The owner would not know the correct tire for replacement or the correct
tire inflation if the need arose. This could lead to the incorrect tire and or rim being substituted and tire overinflation. This could lead to an increased chance of towing issues and a crash or personal injury. Description of the Cause : The tire placards were printed with incorrect tire size and inflation on the placard. All placards stated max PSI values of 80 PSI. The correct PSI was

Description of Remedy Program : The manufacturer will send out replacement certification labels. This will
be corrected at no expense to the owner. All reimbursements will be covered by Heartland’s general reimbursement plan. How Remedy Component Differs The correct tire size and tire PSI listed will be corrected on the new tire
