Incorrect Tire Size on Label/FMVSS 110
The incorrect tire size information could result in the wrong tires being installed on the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Summary
Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2023 Revel camper vans. The Tire and Loading Information Label has an incorrect tire size listed as R16, when the tire size should be R17. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.”
Remedy
Winnebago will provide a new corrected label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 24, 2023. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago’s number for this recall is 172.

Certain 2023 model year Winnebago Industries Reve l ® B Series motor homes.
These motor homes were manufactured May 1 2 20 22 through July 2 9 20 23
Kit Includes:
(1) Tire and Loading Information Label
(1) Winnebago Altered Vehicle Labe l
Instructions
Procedure:
The affected vehicles were produced with an incorrect Tire and Loading information label (Label 1) and mistakenly had a Certification Label (Label 2) installed vs the required Winnebago Altered vehicle label (Label 3). Both Labels are located inside the driver’s side door jamb, on the forward face of the B Pillar. These labels must be removed or covered with the correct one.
1. Remove and discard existing Tire and Loading Information Label, this will reveal the OEM chassis manufacturer’s Tire Inflation Pressure Label. See Photos A and B
2. Clean the OEM label face with isopropyl alcohol and cover the OEM Tire Inflation Pressure Label with the new Tire and Loading Information Label (Label 1). See Photo C
3. Locate the Certification Label (Label 2), clean the label face with isopropyl alcohol and cover it with the new Winnebago Altered Vehicle Label (label 3) See Photo D.
After the new Winnebago Altered Vehicle Label is installed, please complete the enclosed pre addressed postage paid postcard and mail to Winnebago Industries ®
Chronology :
In late July 2022, production identified that the tire label had the incorrect tire size listed. An investigation was opened to understand scope and consequence.
The Product Safety Committee met on 1/24/2023 to review the findings of the investigation and determined that a non-compliance with a Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard was present on vehicles in commerce.
