Roadtrek Inc. 20 Tyler Street, Cambridge, Ontario Canada N1T 0E4 info@roadtrekinc.com | www.roadtrek.com IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL This Notice Applies to Your Vehicle: «VIN» «Column1» «Name» «Last_Name» «Address» «City», «State», «Zip» «Country» February 2, 2023 From: Roadtrek ‘inc. RE: Notice of Recall: NHTSA 22V492 This notice is sent to you in accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Roadtrek Inc. has decided that a defect, which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists in certain 2021-2022 Zion SRT, Zion Slumber, Chase, Play, Play SRT, and Play Slumber motorhomes manufactured from February 4, 2021 through February 28, 2022, and built on the Dodge Ram ProMaster Chassis. What is the problem? The propane output line (POL) valve on the propane tank may not have female threads to the proper depth specifications, which can cause a propane leak, increasing the risk of a fire. What is the Corrective Action? Our records indicate that your vehicle is part of the suspect population that might have a propane tank with a POL valve that may leak. Before delivery of your vehicle, you dealer was required by Roadtrek Inc. and the RVIA to do a PDI (pre-delivery inspection) that includes a Propane Leak Detection Test which is intended to confirm the integrity of the propane system. If you have the PDI documentation that confirms a propane leak detection test was performed in your PDI you do not have to do anything. Please fill out the attached Corrective Action Completion Form to confirm that a leak detection test was performed. If this cannot be confirmed, you must immediately turn off your propane tank and a leak detection test must be performed at your dealer. If you need assistance in finding a dealer near you, please contact retailsupport@roadtrekinc.com or by phone at 1-888-762-3873. Then the Corrective Action Completion Form must be filled out confirming this test was performed and then submitted to Roadtrek Inc. The leak detection test will take 15 minutes and the valve replacement, if necessary, will take approximately 30 minutes and both will be done free of charge. You may be eligible for reimbursement for the cost of repairs made prior to receiving this notice. You may submit your receipts along with the attached Corrective Action Completion Form to salessupport@roadtrekinc.com or by mailing it to Sales Support at the address at the bottom of this letter. Federal regulations require that any vehicle lessor receiving this recall notice must forward a copy of this notice to the lessee within ten days. If you no longer own the vehicle, please inform Roadtrek Inc. of the new owner online at salessupport@roadtrekinc.com. We regret any inconvenience these actions may cause. If this notification is inadequate or the corrections are not made in accordance with this notification within 60 days, you may advise the Administrator, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 1200 New Jersey Ave. S.E., Washington, DC 20590; or call the toll-free Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY: 1-800-424-9153); or go to http://www.safercar.gov.
