the exacting demands in the following applications: planners, grinders, horizontal boring machines, shapers, jig borers, milling machines and other

Coolant/Antifreeze
CASTROL AUTOMOTIVE ANTIFREEZE
Castrol Automotive Antifreeze is an ethylene glycol based antifreeze with silicate additives to provide maximum year-round protection for the
aluminum components of today’s car and light truck engines. It meets the requirements of car and light truck manufacturers.

Castrol Heat Transfer Oils have low pour points, offer excellent circulation during cold weather start-ups, eliminate over-heated pump motors and
protect against hot spots (high fluid temperature in the heat exchanger). Castrol Heat Transfer Oil 100 Light is recommended for application in
closed circulation systems with temperatures up to 287°C (550°F). Castrol Heat Transfer Oil 1590 is recommended for application in closed
circulation systems with temperatures up to 315°C (600°F).

CASTROL CONVERTER
The Castrol Heavy Duty Extended Life Coolant Fleet Conversion Program is a simple and cost effective way to convert a properly maintained
cooling system with less than 300,000 original miles of on-road use (3 years or 6,000 hours of off-highway use) currently using a conventional
or fully-formulated coolant, to Castrol coolant's patented formula.

CASTROL EXTENDER
Castrol Extender should be added to cooling systems at 300,000 to 400,000 miles of on-road use (3 years or 6,000 hours off-highway use) to
maintain the protection provided by Castrol Extended Life Coolant. Extended life protection is achieved without a regular schedule, liquid additives
or maintenance coolant filters. (Most OEMs will recommend a blank filter - review with OEM.) This feature alone will significantly reduce
maintenance costs.

Current API Engine Oil Service Classifications
GASOLINE ENGINES
SM

API SM is the specification for all automotive engines currently in use. Introduced in 2004, SM oils are designed to provide improved
oxidation resistance, improved deposit protection, better wear protection and better low-temperature performance over the life of the
oil. Some SM oils may also meet the latest ILSAC specification and/or qualify as Energy Conserving.

SL

Introduced July 1, 2001. SL oils are designed to provide better high-temperature deposit control and lower oil consumption. Some of
these oils may also meet the latest ILSAC specification and/or qualify as Energy Conserving.

SJ

Meets 1997 Engine Warranty Service Requirements. Provides reduced phosphorus content to protect catalytic converters. Replaces all
previous API “S” specifications.

CASTROL EXTENDED LIFE COOLANT/ANTIFREEZE
Castrol Heavy Duty Extended Life Coolant/Antifreeze features a patented Organic Acid Technology (OAT) formula that delivers total cooling system
protection for 600,000 miles of on-road use (6 years or 12,000 hours of off-highway use) without the use of Supplemental Coolant Additives
(SCAs). This formula requires a 50/50 dilution of deionized water to antifreeze before use.

CJ-4

CASTROL HEAVY DUTY 50/50 PRE-DILUTED EXTENDED LIFE COOLANT/ANTIFREEZE
Castrol Heavy Duty 50/50 Pre-Diluted Extended Life Coolant/Antifreeze is a 50/50 mix of Castrol Heavy Duty Extended Life Coolant/Antifreeze and
deionized water. Castrol Heavy Duty 50/50 Pre-Diluted Extended Life Coolant/Antifreeze features a patented Organic Acid Technology (OAT) formula
that delivers total cooling system protection for 600,000 miles of on-road use (6 years or 12,000 hours of off-highway use) without the use of

CASTROL HEAVY DUTY ANTIFREEZE WITH SCA

CI-4 Plus Introduced on September 1, 2004, API CI-4 Plus is an extension of the API CI-4 category, which did not meet a few key requirements in

Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) engines. After API CI-4 had been in the field, with the final engine designs, concerns were raised by the
original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) regarding the way API CI-4 oils manage soot and the higher shear stresses seen in the new
engines. To overcome these concerns the industry developed and introduced the Mack T-11 engine test that measures the ability of the
lubricant to control viscosity with the "new" soot that the EGR engines were producing. The industry also increased the severity of the
Kurt Orbahn shear stability bench test from 30 to 90 cycles, which was found to more accurately represent the shear stresses that the
new engines were placing on the oil.

Castrol Heavy Duty Antifreeze with SCA is a fully formulated ethylene glycol antifreeze that is specially formulated to deliver maximum protection in
heavy-duty engines. It does not require the addition of Supplemental Coolant Additive (SCA) before usage. The coolant additives (Nitrites) in this
product will control cavitation corrosion of cylinder liners and other cast iron components.

CASTROL PREMIX ANTIFREEZE WITH SCA
Castrol Premix Antifreeze with SCA is a premixed (50/50 pre-diluted) version of Castrol Heavy Duty Antifreeze with SCA. Fully formulated coolant
has been precharged with SCA and mixed with deionized water. The stability of the antifreeze is assured and guarantees optimum cooling system
performance. Controls cavitation corrosion of cylinder liners and other cast iron components. A phosphate-free formulation that has a very focused
inhibitor package to reduce the risk of inhibitor drop-out.

The most up-to-date heavy-duty diesel specification. Introduced in October 2006 for high speed, four stroke diesel engines, designed
to be compliant with all engine technology including pre-model year 2007. This legislation, known as US EPA 07, requires that all 2007
model year vehicles emit lower levels of nitrogen gases (NOx) and particulate matter (PM). The category was needed to match the
availability of ultra low sulfur diesel (ULSD) fuel on the market late 2006 and to meet the needs of new engines equipped with exhaust
aftertreatment devices. Optimum protection is provided for control of catalyst poisoning, particulate filter blocking, engine wear, piston
deposits, low- and high-temperature stability, soot handling properties, oxidative thickening, foaming, and viscosity loss due to shear.
API CJ-4 oils exceed the performance criteria of API CI-4 with CI-4 Plus, CI-4, CH-4, CG-4 and CF-4 and can effectively lubricate engines
calling for those API Service Categories.

CI-4

Introduced September 5, 2002, API CI-4 oils are for high-speed four-stroke diesel engines designed to meet 2004 exhaust emission
standards implemented in 2002. API CI-4 oils are formulated to sustain engine durability where exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is used
and are intended for use with diesel fuels ranging in sulfur content up to 0.5% weight. Can be used in place of CD, CE, CF-4, CG-4
and CH-4 oils.

API CH-4 provides engine protection in heavily sooted environments of new engines that must meet today’s more stringent emission
requirements.

CASTROL LABCHECK

CG-4

For high-speed diesels in on- and off-road use, API CG-4 oils provide protection against deposits, corrosion, foaming and soot accumulation.

Castrol Labcheck is a powerful maintenance tool that ultimately helps save real dollars in maintenance, repairs and unscheduled downtime. Sample
analysis is completed within 24-48 hours of sample receipt at the laboratory and critical information about a fleet is available 24 hours a day with
Castrol Labcheck Online.

CF-4

For four-cycle diesel engines, API CF-4 includes the replacement of Caterpillar 1G2 test with Caterpillar 1K and more severe pass/fail limits
in the Cummins NTC-400 than for API CE.

CF-2

For severe duty two-stroke engine service API CF-2 replaces CD-11 oils that meet this standard must pass the 6V92TA test and the
Caterpillar 1M-PC test.

CF

For indirect-injected engines using a wide range of fuels, especially those with high sulfur content, API CF oils control deposits and inhibit
bearing corrosion.

CASTROL LABCHECK PRO
Castrol Labcheck Pro is a superior PC-based software program that is used to retrieve, store and analyze used oil analysis test results. Castrol
Labcheck Pro generates valuable equipment management information that is almost impossible to extract from traditional paper-based oil analysis
reports. By pinpointing problem areas, Castrol Labcheck Pro provides the opportunity for an equipment manager to be proactive in his/her
maintenance practices.

Energy Conserving

API ILSAC GF-2

This is a category of oils that provide less fuel consumption
than the API’s standard reference test oil and are licensed as
“Energy Conserving” with the API.

In order to display the ILSAC GF-2 symbol, a motor oil must comply with all the
requirements of SJ and the Energy Conserving (Fuel Savings) requirements as
measured by the Sequence V1-A Test (SAE 5W-30 and SAE 10W-30).

CASTROL EMERGENCY SPILL KIT

Fluid Analysis platform. This program will work as follows:
1- Hino Trucks will be set up as the master account for this program. Sampling supplies

Sample Results and Data Transmission
The Labcheck Online platform will be available for easy retrieval of sample results. No
printed copies of report will be available. Only electronic copies are available. These
reports come out in Adobe Acrobat PDF files for easy printing if necessary.
The Labcheck Online address is: www.labcheckonline.com available from any computer
with access to the Internet.
These samples will reside under each dealer’s location ID. It is suggested that VIN #s are
used to identify each sample. Dealers will only have the ability to see their own results by
requesting access online as described above.
