ON‑HIGHWAY

(Dry freight or refrigerated van trailer moving different
types of freight, include city delivery).
• Operation on road surfaces of good to excellent
concrete or asphalt.
• Generally distances are more than 30 miles
between starting and stopping. - LineHaul.
• Pick up and delivery service within cities and/or
suburban areas. – city delivery.
• Three (3) miles between starts/stops (typical). – City
Delivery.
• 100% load going /40% or more load return
(typical).

VOCATIONAL
• Movement of material to and from a job site.
• Movement of production related products, supplies
and tools between job sites.
• Movement of processing equipment and
laboratories on job sites.
• Movement of petroleum or liquid product, gases, to
processing, delivery or fueling sites.
• Movement of wood chips between mills or other
facilities.
• Movement of rock, ore, gravel and minerals between
