6-1 Adding Access Keys

1) Start the PC application according to section
"Starting Up the System" and display the Main

14) Stand by as the access key is registered.
(2) Hold the Subaru ornament side to the push
engine switch (push-button ignition switch)
side.
(3) Bring it close until it touches the push
engine switch (push-button ignition switch).
• The procedure to hold an access key over the
push engine switch (push-button ignition switch)
has to be done within 30 seconds after the
screen above appears.
13) When screen displays access key registration
mode shown below, hold one access key you
wish to register additionally over the push
engine switch (push-button ignition switch).

15) Once the registration ends normally, the
[Registered number] increases by one as you
can see on the screen below. If you have
another access key to be registered, repeat
steps 13 through 14. If you do not have any
more keys to be registered, click the [Quit]
button and move on to step 16.

holding the access key up has been completed,
but for 10 seconds after the work, the access key
should be kept inside the vehicle (near the select
lever).
• For registration of the next access key, the
previously registered access key should be
removed from the vehicle.

registering all the access keys you wish to
register.

ignition on.
Caution:
A registered access key is required. If
registration completed before registering a
desired access key, such an unregistered
access key cannot be used anymore. When
necessary, prepare a new access key, and
perform additional registration.
Note:
