Technical background
The front seat proximity sensors are bcated under both front seats at the front of the inner seat rail. The screw whK:h secures the front rght hand
seat proximity sensor (Fl.Jure 1) and the screws whK:h secure the eft hand front proximity sensor and proximity sensor bracket (Fl.Jure 2) recu ire
replacing using a later specifcafon part.

Section 1 - The sensor screw (rght hand seat) abng with sensor and sensor bracket sc rew (eft hand seat) require replacing using a later
spec ifcaton part. Sensor confirmaton checks are aso recu ired after the screws are replaced as detailed.

Sections 2 and 3 - Shou[J only be conducted in the event that the proximity sensors are deemed to be as not per specifcato n after the
confirmaton checks in Secfon 1 have been conducted
Seeton 2 detai5 the process to replace all applK:abe parts on the rght and eft hand seats NOTE : The process to replace the parts on the eft hand
seat differs from the rK,Jht hand seat as the rght hand seat valance bracket does not require replacement.

If only one sensor is found to be not per specifcafon (for exampe rg ht hand sde) it is only a recu irement to change the rght hand sensor, it is only a
requirement to change the rght and eft hand sensors if both are deemed as not per specifcafon
Section 3 is a short diag nostK: procedure whK:h must be conducted on competon of Seeton 2

ATTENTION: During this procedure the workshop manual is quoted, it is recommended that all referenced procedures are checked by the operative
as the process within the workshop manual may have changed since last viewed.

Remedy
This campagn must be carried out on an applicabe vehices within the specifK: VIN range to ensure all affected vehices are checked and repa ired as
detaied within the onward instructons.

Customer notification
Customers do not need to be informed directly of this campagn pease ensure that .2!Laffected vehices are checked and repaired during a service visit .
You shou[J a5o promptly inform yo ur new and used vehice department so that affected vehices can be checked straght away and if necessary
repaired .

Check
If the vehtle is not already listed as repaired in the " Repair history " (in Elsa Pro ), check for the campaign dentifcation mark whth is a yelbw paint
mark on the right hand prox imity sensor (Figure 9) and left hand seat prox imity sensor (Figure 10) if the paint marks are not visible please carry out
the required work in accordance with these instructions.

Control
All F~ing Spur vehtles after VIN SCBEC9ZA7EC094772 are not affected by this campaign .
