Summary
On 7/7/2026, while driving on a local road at under 600 miles from purchase (590 on odometer), the dashboard displayed a warning that something was critically wrong and instructed the driver to pull over immediately. Once pulled over, the vehicle lost the ability to shift and became fully inoperable. Multiple alerts triggered simultaneously: Drive-Start Control System, AWD System, Check Engine, Integrated System Warning (TSS malfunction), and Hybrid
System. The vehicle would not power on for 15-20 minutes, after which it powered on with some functionality restored (possibly an internal reboot), though alerts remained present. It came to rest partially obstructing a live traffic lane with no ability to move further off the road, creating a collision risk. Vehicle was flatbed towed to the dealership. Dealership held the vehicle one week (7/7-7/14). Technician confirmed alerts were genuine but could not reproduce the fault after ~38 miles of test driving. Only historical communication codes detected; no active diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) present. Vehicle was returned with no repair and no identified cause. Unsure if dealer service center contacted Toyota
engineering for help. This is the second distinct electrical/software anomaly in ~5 weeks. On 6/18/2026, the traction battery dropped to 0% overnight despite being securely plugged in at 63%; the rear liftgate was also found open unexpectedly. This resolved on its own; vehicle was not serviced. Vehicle is available for inspection.

Summary
I was traveling 58 mph on hwy 270 in Malvern Arkansas. The power steering turned off, the emergency brake engaged and flashed, and the ABS shut off. I replaced the steering sensor with an original mopar
part off of my vin number and if i turn tightly it still triggers a code. The entire sensor and spring has been relplaced. It was obvious the original part shorted out It is VERY SENSITIVE to heat, the hotter it gets the more shut down of power steering, and activating the emergency brake while driving is experienced. I bought this car new and have taken excellent care of it.

Summary
On Tuesday, July 14th I started my vehicle around 6:30 am and started to drive. Once I was driving, I had multiple warning lights on my dash showing and my power steering failed on me. I stopped the vehicle, put it in park and turned it off. I restarted the car and still had the various warning lights and no power steering. The car was driving fine with no warning lights at 4:50 am that morning and again at 6:15 am that morning. I managed to drive the 2 miles home at a low rate of speed with no power steering since there were not many cars out. I called the Kia
dealership and contacted a tow truck to take the vehicle in. The tow truck driver saw the warning lights as well and had to maneuver the car with no power steering onto his truck. Once Kia did the initial inspection, they said there were no warning lights and the power steering worked. They were going to conduct a more thorough inspection on Friday to see what the issue was. I called end of day Friday and was told they would need more time to inspect since they could not find any issues with the car. The know the warning light had shown up but if they could not recreate the issue then the car would not be looked at further. This is the 3rd issue with this vehicle that the dealer could not recreate. I've had the vehicle stall on me at a light when I was stopped or at a stop sign as well as not accelerate when I was at a high rate of speed in an emergency situation. This issue puts me and my family at risk if I were to be driving during a busy period or on a highway. My car is only 2 years old and has under 32k miles, I drive it frequently to visit family 4 hours away. I am to pick up my car from the Kia
dealer and I am scared to drive this car. I feel it's a deathtrap and an accident waiting to happen. Kia
said I can always trade it in for a new car, but no thank you.

Summary
Vehicle Information Year: 2024 Make: Ford Model: Edge VIN: [XXX] Description of the Safety Issue I am submitting this complaint regarding the unexpected failure of the panoramic glass roof on my 2024 Ford
Edge. The vehicle was parked in my residential driveway. As I began backing out of the driveway, I heard a very loud explosion or bang. I immediately stopped and inspected the vehicle. I discovered that the panoramic glass roof had shattered outward. There had been no collision, no rollover, no object striking the vehicle, and no severe weather. The vehicle had simply been sitting in my driveway before I began backing out. The interior sunshade was closed at the time of the incident. After the glass shattered, a substantial amount of broken glass remained on top of the closed sunshade and around the roof opening. I also observed that there was essentially no broken glass in my driveway, which suggests the glass failed from within the panel rather than from an external impact. This sudden failure occurred without warning and created a significant safety concern. Had this happened while I was driving at highway speeds with passengers in the vehicle or with the sunshade open, the results could have been much more dangerous due to falling glass and the driver's distraction. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate this incident to determine whether similar failures are occurring in 2024 Ford
Edge vehicles and whether this represents a potential safety defect involving panoramic sunroofs. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

Summary
2019 Buick
Enclave (GM) w/ 29481 miles, consistently serviced and in excellent working order. In city traffic about 45-50MPH, no warning lights until total electrical/power failure - no power, no steering, no electrical/lights. Car is owned by [XXX] mother-in-law ([XXX]). Her daughter ([XXX]) was driving. Had [XXX] been driving, there would have been a wreck. [XXX] was able to coast into a corner gas station/garage. Buy next day mechanic was able to isolate failure to alternator. Since we performed the repair at the closest mechanic, I do not know what GM knows. I see on internet a high volume of alternator failures in Enclaves. It doesn't seem an alternator failure should be so abrupt, without warning and with such dire immediate impact. GM has said they 'may' have been able to help with the cost of the repair if we had had it done at an authorized service center. Frankly, this feels like a trap (and Nissan
did exactly this to me 2 years ago - asking me to tow into their service center and then saying 'oops, sorry, no warranty ... ). GM should buy their failed alternator back and study why it failed and why that failure had this impact to the vehicle. The repair was made with a GM part - honestly, not sure if that's good or bad, but there is no excuse for GM to not own their part failure. No one other than the mechanic has inspected the car. He would probably be glad to speak to NHTSA. No prior warning lights, messages, symptoms. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

My 2024 Honda
CRV Sport Touring Hybrid
AWD has the very same engine and parts as the Canadian model. So far the Canadian version with the exact same equipment as well as the U.S. version has a poorly designed HEAD GASKET that have resulted in NUMEROUS engine failures with no warning. In CANADA the engines have been recalled for this safety concern and resulting catastrophic engine failure. My complaint is that since there are many drivers in the U.S. that have the EXACT same engine with the EXACT same problem deserve the SAME recall to correct this manufacturing defect that will result in an UNSAFE condition without repair.
