Car was purchased brand new from Ford Dealership in May 2023. In September 2026, brought car in for 20,000 mile service at Ford Dealership in San Jose, California to discover that both rear shock absorbers are already worn and shocks are leaking. Dealer recommended that they needed to be replaced. Upon research, this issue has very common with 2022 Ford Explorers (all trims). I believe this is a defective issue that should be investigated. No check engine or warning lights ever came up due to this issue.

The factory infotainment system (Mercedes NTG 5.5 head unit) displays Android Auto incorrectly. Instead of using the full width of the center display, Android Auto is cropped into a reduced window on the right side of the screen. The remaining roughly one-third of the screen shows a static logo with no function. Apple CarPlay on the same head unit and screen displays correctly at full width. This indicates a software or integration defect specific to Android Auto, not a hardware or display failure. Safety risk: Because navigation is pushed to the far right edge of the display and shrunk, the driver has to turn their head and eyes further from the road, and for longer, to read the map, turn-by-turn directions and incoming call information. Smaller map content takes more time to interpret, which lengthens each glance away from the road. This increases driver distraction during normal driving, especially in complex traffic and at intersections where navigation matters most. The problem is constant and reproducible every time Android Auto connects. It persists across different phones, cables and phone settings. The manufacturer's customer support was contacted. They offered no fix and directed me to pay for a dealer diagnosis. The problem has not been confirmed by a dealer or independent service center: UNKNOWN. No warning lamps or messages are associated with it. The vehicle is available for inspection tested on multiple new phones, many existing forums share the same issue. Anroid auto has taken responsibility but the Mercedes team has to fix this

My Audi RS6 has experienced a failure involving the engine cooling system/water pump that requires repair. This appears to be a recurring issue among C8 RS6 owners. Other owners have reported water-pump failures, coolant loss, overheating, drivetrain malfunction warnings, turbo underboost faults, and vehicles entering reduced-power or limp mode. Audi has also issued technical service information addressing coolant-pump leakage and related cooling-system problems. I am asking NHTSA to investigate this issue because the potential safety consequences appear to extend beyond an expensive mechanical repair. If the cooling-system failure occurs while driving, the vehicle may overheat, display urgent coolant warnings, enter reduced-power/limp mode, or require the driver to immediately pull off the road. A sudden or significant reduction in available engine power can be dangerous, particularly while merging onto a freeway, passing, crossing traffic, or driving at highway speeds. Likewise, an overheating vehicle may force the driver to stop unexpectedly in an unsafe location. There appear to be numerous RS6 owners reporting similar water-pump and cooling-system failures, including vehicles with relatively low mileage. Because this failure can potentially affect propulsion and the driver’s ability to safely continue driving, I believe the frequency, root cause, affected production range, and safety consequences warrant investigation. My vehicle is outside the factory warranty and I am paying for the repair myself. I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate whether this represents a safety-related defect affecting the C8 Audi RS6 and related vehicles.

I was driving my 2017 Ford Fusion Platinum on my way home and the wrench light came on and said check manual when i looked in my app the only thing that was in the maintenance was my 90k maintenance . my car is driving fine no RPM jumping no smoking no burning smell no shaking nothing ( the wrench light was off when i cranked it to take my daughter to work Saturday morning ) well Saturday on my way home from bring my daughter to work my check engine light came on still my car is driving fine when i looked in my Ford App at the check engine light warning which was these two warnings The transmission control system has detected the transmission torque converter clutch is not operating as expected. Additional alerts that may provide additional information may accompany this alert .A reduction in vehicle fuel economy may also occur when the fault is present. The transmission control module has detected that the torque converter clutch failed to apply. This system failsafe logic disables the torque converter clutch when this condition is present. This results in a higher than normal engine RPM's during higher vehicle cruising speeds and reduced fuel economy. now my car is still driving fine. i took it to auto zone to put the computer on it and it read this code P0741 which gives this Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off, which indicates that the vehicle's computer commanded the torque converter clutch to lock up, but it is failing to do so. i took it to our ford dealer ship and he stated oh yes you need a whole new transmission which is 7200$ do you want to pay now .... Im shocked that my car would need a new transmission... i have seen recalls for Torque Converter for the fusion .. but my vin is not showing this recall is there anyone else experiencing this
