Chronology :
On Mar 2, 2022 a customer contacted Roadtrek Customer Support asking about uneven tire wear on his front tires. The pursuant investigation led to the realization that the 2020 MY vehicles had been ordered with the A50 stronger front suspension option which increased the GVWR from 3878 kg to 4105 kg and accordingly required the front tire pressure to be increased from 46 psi to 52 psi. The customer that had originally complained actually did have the correct front tire pressure of 46 psi for his MY 2019 chassis that did not have the A50 option.

The pursuant investigation discovered that the tire pressure label on the vehicle was in fact correct and there was no safety issue. But the pursuant investigation led to the realization that the 2020 MY chassis had been ordered with the A50 front suspension option which provided for an increased GVWR which required an increase in the front tire pressure from 46 psi to 52 psi. We did not realize this new option was ordered or that this required these changes. The investigation revealed that there were only 10 of the MY 2020 vehicles that labelled with the incorrect front tire pressure labels as well as understated GVWR and OCCC but was the correct limits for the 46 psi front tire pressure. This label information was corrected in production on Nov 18, 2021. Description of the Cause : tire pressure label incorrectly states the front tire pressure to 46 psi rather than the correct pressure of 52 psi Identification of Any Warning that can Occur : TPMS might provide a low tire pressure warning and indicate that the correct front tire pressure is 52 psi. Part 573 Safety Recall Report 22V-156 Page 2 The information contained in this report was submitted pursuant to 49 CFR §573 Involved Components : Component Name : tire pressure label Component Description : label Component Part Number : NR Supplier Identification : Component Manufacturer Name : Roadtrek Inc Address : 20 Tyler St. Cambridge, Ontario Canada Foreign States N1T 0E4 Country : Canada Chronology : On Mar 2, 2022 a customer contacted Roadtrek Customer Support asking about uneven tire wear on his front tires. Description of Remedy : Description of Remedy Program : a new tire pressure label will be sent out to the owners of all of the effected vehicles for them to install on their vehicle. This label will be applied by the owner without incurring any cost How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : The front tire pressure should be 52 psi not 46 psi Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : The front tire pressure stated on the label was changed on Nov 18, 2021 Recall Schedule : Description of Recall Schedule : Dealer notification May 30 to June 3 Owner notification June 6 to 10 Part 573 Safety Recall Report 22V-156 Page 3 The information contained in this report was submitted pursuant to 49 CFR §573 Planned Dealer Notification Date : MAY 30, 2022 – JUN 03, 2022 Planned Owner Notification Date : JUN 06, 2022 – JUN 10, 2022 Purchaser Information : The following manufacturers purchased this defective/noncompliant equipment for possible use or installation in new motor vehicles or new items of motor vehicle equipment: Name : Address : Country : Company Phone : * NR – Not Reported

Submission Date : JUN 28, 2022 NHTSA Recall No. : 22V-156 Manufacturer Recall No. : 2022-02 Manufacturer Information : Manufacturer Name : Roadtrek Inc. Address : 20 Tyler Street Cambridge 00 N1T0E4 Company phone : 519-745-1160 Population : Number of potentially involved : 10 Estimated percentage with defect : 100 % Vehicle Alterer Information : Vehicle 1 : 2020-2021 Roadtrek Inc SS Agile Descriptive Information : On Mar 2, 2022 A customer contacted us concerned about tire wear on the front tires of his vehicle. Production Dates : NOV 13, 2020 – NOV 18, 2021 Description of Defect : Description of the Defect : Tire pressure label states incorrect front tire pressure of 46 psi rather than the correct 52 psi. FMVSS 1 : 138 – Tire pressure monitoring systems FMVSS 2 : NR Description of the Safety Risk : The incorrect front tire pressure could cause the Tire Pressure Monitoring System to indicate a low tire pressure warning. Incorrect tire pressure could cause the vehicle stability control systems to malfunction resulting in possible loss of control of the vehicle and an increased risk of a crash.
