The defect is associated with a steel belt package design change that could contribute to a tread belt separation or tread delamination, increasing the risk of a crash. Keystone representatives have been in contact with the staff at your selling dealership regarding this situation. The remedy is to inspect the tires DOT code and contact Sailun Tire Americas if the DOT codes fall under the recall range. The service and parts required for this corrective action will be provided at no charge to you. Under inflation and overloading of the tires as well as excessive speed are also contributing factors to tire failure. This campaign will expire 180 days after receipt of this letter, so it is important that you act as soon as possible to determine whether your tires are covered by this campaign. The labor time to perform this correction is approximately 3 hours. If at the end of this campaign you experience a tire failure please follow the regular warranty policy applicable to your brand. If you’ve had your tires replaced before you received this letter, you may be eligible to receive reimbursement for the cost.
