Models Affected: Recreational Vehicles built from November 10, 2016 through January 10, 2018.
General Information
Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC) has determined that the keyless entry push-to-start remote (key fob) battery may discharge prematurely on the enclosed vehicle identification numbers (VINs).
Work for this notification will be performed at no charge if completed before March 1, 2020. Direct any questions to FCCC at 1-800-FTL-HELP (1-800-385-4357) or send an email to Fcccservice@daimler.com.
Authorized Freightliner dealers have work instructions to repair the condition causing the keyless remote battery to remain active and discharge prematurely. Contact a local dealer to schedule an appointment and have this work performed before March 1, 2020.
