Summary
Tracker Marine, LLC (Tracker) is recalling certain 2022 Ranger Trail T22RT178, T22RT178B, T22RT188, T22RT188B, T22RT188P, T22RT188PB, T22RT198P, T22RT198PB, T22VS1665, T22VS1682, T22VS1782, and T22VS1782B trailers. The fenders may be improperly spaced, allowing the tires to contact the fenders.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and correct the fender spacing as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on November 12, 2021. Owners may contact Tracker customer service at 1-417-873-4555. Tracker’s number for this recall is RT-0001.

Recall #RT-0001: Ranger Trail Fender Spacing
Condition: Fenders may not have adequate spacing for tire clearance
Models Affected: 2022 Ranger single axle deep-v and mod-v trailers
Time Allowed: 15 Minutes
Recall Information
DESCRIPTION OF CONCERN:
The fenders on affected units may not have adequate spacing to allow for tire clearance.
REQUIRED PART NUMBER: N/A
VERIFICATION PROCESS:
Reference the affected units and check spacing on fenders per attached instructions.
CORRECTIVE ACTION:
If fenders are outside of the specifications indicated in the attached instructions, adjust the spacing to meet specifications. Once completed, file a warranty claim for the labor.
FENDER ADJUSTMENTS FOR RT & VS SINGLE AXLE MODELS
Tools needed:
QTY:2 – 9/16 wrenches
An item to measure ¾” for proper spacing (3/4” thick piece of wood).
Using a ¾” block (or what you have available that is ¾” thick); place it between the back side of tire and the inside of the fender pad to verify if there is adequate spacing. If the block fits as seen, then there is adequate spacing and no adjustment is required. If it does not fit, continue further in the instructions.
Loosen the 4 fender bolts attaching the fender to the front and rear box. These will only need slightly loosened as the intent is to slide the fender inward to create more room for the tire. Push the fender inward as far as it will go.
After making these adjustments, ensure the fender is level and then tighten the 4 fender bolts which were loosened earlier.
Chronology :
We had a customer report a rubbing tire which prompted further review on 11-1-2021. After further review, an additional stock trailer was found to have the same condition. We have opted to recall the trailers due to safety concerns.
