3/8/2024 – Airstream identifies the error with the GAWR values. 3/8/2024 – Airstream begins investigation.
3/15/2024 – The safety committee reviews all known data and determines a recall is warranted. Airstream is unaware of any warranty or injury claims due to this non-compliance.
Description of Remedy :
Description of Remedy Program : Corrected labels will be sent to affected customers and dealers for
installation. This will be done at no cost to the owner. Reimbursement will follow the general reimbursement policy that is on file with NHTSA. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component :
Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : The label will be printed with the correct GAWR values. The issue was corrected on March 11, 2024. Recall Schedule :
Description of Recall Schedule : Airstream will send dealer and owner notification letters once approved
by NHTSA.
