Incorrect Tire Size & Pressure/FMVSS 110
Incorrect tire information could result in improperly inflated tires or the wrong tires being installed on the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.

Summary
Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. (Gulf Stream) is recalling certain 2024 Trail Boss 160FK trailers. The incorrect tire size and tire pressure are listed on the federal certification label. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims” and 49 CFR Part 567, “Certification.”
Remedy
Dealers will mail replacement federal certification labels to customers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 8, 2024. Owners may contact Gulf Stream customer service at 1-800-289-8787. Gulf Stream’s number for this recall is 106FK/23.

Dear Dealer,
This noce is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the Naonal Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.
Certain 2024 model year, Trail Boss model160FK, manufactured by Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. (“Gulfstream”) do not
conform to 49 CFR Part 567 – Cerficaon and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 110 – “Tire Selecon.”
Problem Descripon: Incorrect Federal Cerficaon Labels idenfy the res as being ST225/75R15D LRD. The
correct Federal Cerficaon Label idenfies the res as being ST235/75R15 LRD
Consequence:
The potenal for improper inflaon of the current res exists if a trailer is labeled incorrectly. There is a potenal
risk of over inflaon which could result in reduced tracon and performance of the res as well as cause uneven
re wear potenally resulng in poor handling and an increased risk of crash.
Remedy:
A replacement label is enclosed to replace the original label. To install, make sure the original label is removed
from the vehicle, the area where the original label was installed should be clean and dry to promote adequate
adhesion of the new replacement label. Remove the label backer exposing the adhesive backed label and put in
place with applied pressure.
Once the label is installed, inspecons and repairs are complete, please complete and return the enclosed
postcard that is pre-stamped and addressed for your convenience.
Dealer Campaign Responsibility:
Our records indicate the vehicle idenfied above is sll in your possession. Federal Law requires that this unit be
repaired prior to delivery to a retail customer. Therefore, the vehicle must be held and repaired per the service
procedure of this Recall campaign before an owner takes possession.

Problem Descripon: Incorrect Federal Cerficaon Labels idenfy the res as being ST225/75R15D LRD. The

Consequence:
The potenal for improper inflaon of the current res exists if a trailer is labeled incorrectly. There is a potenal

Remedy:
A replacement label is enclosed to replace the original label. To install, make sure the original label is removed
