Description of the Safety Risk : The owner would not know the correct tire for replacement if the need arose. This could lead to the incorrect tire and or rim being substituted. 1-10-24 – Engineering noted a discrepancy of tire sizes during an audit of our fed tags. 1-12-24- ran reports and researched scope. 1-12-24- found 7 units with incorrect tire size or no information printed on the tire placard. 1/15/24 – sent to the safety committee. Description of Remedy :
Description of Remedy Program : The manufacturer will send out replacement certification labels. This will
be corrected at no expense to the owner. All reimbursements will be covered by Heartland’s general reimbursement plan. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : The correct tire size listed will be corrected on the new tire placard. Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : We corrected the tire sizing in the system so the VIN tags and tire placard will print properly.
