Generator Set Fuel Hose May Cause Gas Leak
A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Summary
Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2019-2023 Ford Transit, 2020 RAM, and 2020-2022 Sprinter recreational vehicles upfitted by Creative Mobile Interiors. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the injection pump module (IMP) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 25, 2023. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.

Chronology :
7/17/23 – Airstream received information from Creative Mobile Interiors (Airtsream aquired CMI in early in 2023) regarding a notification from NHTSA stating that they were identified by Cummins as a purchaser of subject equipment involved in NHTSA recall 23E030.
7/18/2023 CMI provided Airstream with a list of their retail owners with the affected Onan generators.
7/25/23 – Airstream received a directive from THOR Compliance stating that they have had conversation with NHSTA, and it was decided that a separate 573 should be submitted by Airstream for the units upfitted by CMI.
