Fuel Tank Paint May Peel and Result in a Fuel Leak
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

Summary
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2022 Esteem, Odyssey, Redhawk, and Greyhawk motorhomes built on Ford chassis. The paint along the weld seam of the fuel tank may peel and lead to corrosion of the exposed metal, which can result in a fuel leak.
Remedy
Ford dealers will inspect the fuel tank and replace, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on June 2, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco’s number for this recall is Ford 22V-925.

February 20, 2023 Jayco’s Warranty Incident Review Committee (WIRC) reviewed the incident and elevated it to Corrective Preventive Action Committee (CPAC). On March 1, 2023 (CPAC) decided to elevate the incident to the Safety Steering Committee (SSC) once the remedy was available and the Ford recall became active. In April 2023, Ford notified Jayco that remedy parts are available. On April 27, 2023 SSC voted to proceed with a pass through chassis recall.
