The recalled products differ from products that were not included in the recall in that the recalled products were equipped with WARN winches that are the subject of Recall 22E-101 and the non-recalled products were not equipped with WARN winches that are the subject of Recall 22E-101. There are a total of five (5) affected products related to this make/model/model year combination. Production Dates : JUN 30, 2021 – AUG 10, 2022 VIN Range 1 : Begin : 1KKVF5321ML248718 End : 1KKVF5329NL252081 Not sequential Description of Defect : Description of the Defect : After investigating field reports of inadvertent activation, Warn Industries, Inc. determined that, in certain modes of its winches, getting the remote control wet could result in water ingress and corrosion inside the remote control.This condition could lead to inadvertent activation. It was determined that this condition only affects remote controls with wireless capability that are not water proof.
