Summary
Oliver Travel Trailers, Inc. (Oliver) is recalling certain 2022 Legacy Elite II travel trailers. The 42mm cartridge bearing washer within the hub assembly may crack, causing the hub to separate from the axle wheel end.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the 42mm cartridge bearing washer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed in July 29, 2022. Owners may contact Oliver customer service at 1-866-205-2621.

Oliver Travel Trailer’s has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2022 Legacy Elite II travel trailers manufactured between April 1, 2022 and June 22, 2022 equipped with certain Dexter axles.
The issue is some axle 42mm cartridge bearing washers within the hub assembly may crack, causing the hub to separate from the axle wheel end.
A hub separation from the wheel end may cause loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Your Legacy Elite II was manufactured within the affected period using this component and is to be inspected to ensure the axle is not within the recall population as identified by serial number. Remedy will be by replacement of the 42mm cartridge bearing washer, free of charge. The replacement washers will be sent with instructions to complete the installation by a qualified RV technician. The replacement should take approximately two hours to complete.

6/23/22 Oliver Travel Trailers placed all 52029455 axles, sub structures, and work in process on containment to verify suspect serial numbers.
6/23/22 Oliver Travel Trailers and Oliver Sales and Service inspected Elite II model units to identify serial numbers within the Dexter suspect serial range.
6/27-6/30/22 Dexter provide technicians to support replacing washers in axles with the serial range at OTT and OTTSI locations.
