Incorrect Tire Information on Tire Placard
Overinflated tires can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Summary
KZRV, L.P. (KZRV) is recalling certain 2021 Escape travel trailers. The tire placard states incorrect tire information, which can result in the tires being overinflated.
Remedy
KZRV will provide a new tire placard and installation instructions, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 23, 2022. Owners may contact KZRV customer service at 1-800-768-4016 ext. 154 or 153. KZRV’s number for this recall is KZ-2022-03.

KZ-2022-03 Repair Instructions
It has come to our attention that we may have installed tags on your camper that have incorrect tire ratings on them. The current tag on the unit likely shows an “E” rating for the tires, and your tires are actually “D” rating. This results in an incorrect inflation rating on the sticker. The actual inflation for your tires should be 65PSI, not 80PSI as your current tag reads.
Please remove and discard the incorrect tags and install the tags included with this letter.

KZRV has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 2021 Escape models. As a result, KZRV is conducting a safety recall. The vehicles subject to this recall were built with an incorrect tire placard label. The inflation values on this label are too high and if followed will result in overinflated tires which may result in a tire explosion that causes property damage, personal injury or death. This repair will be done at no cost to you. The remedy is to replace the tire placard label. The repair should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. This repair will be done at no cost to you. You should contact your selling dealer immediately to schedule a service appointment to have the defect repaired in your vehicle.
