IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL
NHTSA Recall Campaign # 15V-017

Dear Jayco Dealer:

This notice is sent to you in accordance with the requirements of the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act.

Defect Involved

Jayco has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain Model Year 2015 Eagle Fifth Wheels manufactured March 13, 2014 through August 1, 2014. The Federal Certification Label and CSA Data Sheet incorrectly note the tire size as ST225/75R15D when the correct tire size on the fifth wheel is ST235/80R16E.  Incorrect tire size could lead to excessive wear and may cause instability in towing of the travel trailer which could increase the risk of a crash causing personal injury or property damage.

The remedy is replacement of the current Federal Certification Label and CSA Data Sheet with the correct label showing tire size as ST235/80R16E. The corrected labels are included with the Recall Notification Letter.  Customers may replace the labels or take to a Jayco Dealer to perform this recall at no charge.   Our records show the following 2015 Eagle Fifth Wheel/s are affected by this recall and are currently stock units at your dealership:
