SUBJECT:
This TSB supersedes 23-AT-004H to add Santa Fe (MX5A) vehicles, along with associated parts
and warranty information on pages 3 & 4, and to update warranty information for Santa Cruz
vehicles.
Description: Some Santa Cruz (NXT), Santa Fe (TMA, MX5A), and Sonata (DN8A) models may
require replacement of the 8-speed wet dual clutch transmission (8WDCT) when the vehicle sets one
of the high pressure electric oil pump (HP EOP) DTCs listed below. This bulletin provides instructions
to replace the 8WDCT.
Possible High Pressure Electric Oil Pump DTCs:
• P1C2D03 - HP EOP Motor Position Sensor
• P193B79 - HP EOP Performance
• P086800 - Transmission Fluid Pressure Low
NOTICE
Verify that all vehicles impacted by either Recall 236 or Service Campaign T8N have had the
recall/campaign performed to ensure these vehicles have updated software prior to any
transmission replacement.
