X12 Oil Dipstick Replacement Campaign

This is to revise and replace Campaign 2753-A, dated 23-Jan-2025. This revision is to:
1. Extend the Expiration date to: 15-Jan-2026, and
2. Update the ESN list.
If additional information is required, please contact your Cummins Warranty Operations Group Leader.

Description
This Campaign is being issued to address potential engine oil overfill on certain X12 CM2350 X119B and CM2450 X137B engines due to a mismatch in the dipstick
marks that can lead to engine damage. This field action authorizes certified repair locations to replace dipstick on eligible engines.

Action
In order to qualify for repair under this field action, an engine:
1. will be covered Regardless of coverage status, and
2. must show as OPEN on QuickServe® Online for this field action.

Note : The ESN list is attached for reference.
After verifying that the engine meets the above requirements, perform the following actions:

Note : All eligible units will require a replacement dipstick.
1. Remove the original dipstick blade from the engine and install the replacement dipstick blade per the attached ESN listing.

Note : No need to replace oil dipstick tube unless damage is found. Supporting narratives MUST be included in the claim details to secure
reimbursement.
2. Verify appropriate oil level using the new dipstick.

Material Disposition
Materials removed as a result of this field action must be scrapped.
