Workshop findings:
+ The status of the charging flap is not detected correctly. Faulty actuator.
Technical Background
Faulty actuator.
Fault due to e.g. oxidation or damage from foreign particles in actuator.
One of the following messages (or similar) appears in the instrument cluster: “Vehicle charging connection:
please close charging flap” or “Vehicle charging connection: charging not possible. Please close a charging
flap” (Figure 1).
