Concerns:

Coolant regulator

Cause:

Coolant regulators in which the radial shaft sealing ring does not meet the required specifications have
been installed in the affected vehicles.
This leads to coolant loss and a drop in the coolant level in the coolant expansion tank, which results in activation of the yellow or red warning message on the instrument cluster.

Action:

Replace the coolant regulator.
Information
The coolant regulator is integrated in the coolant regulator housing and cannot be replaced separately. In
order to replace the coolant regulator, the coolant regulator housing must be replaced.

Transfer the coolant pump with a new seal to a new coolant regulator housing.
