Concerns:

Coolant regulator

Cause:

It is possible that coolant regulators in which the radial shaft sealing ring does not meet the required specifications have been installed in the affected vehicles.
If this is the case, a gradual loss of coolant over a prolonged vehicle run time can lead to a drop in the coolant
level in the coolant expansion tank and eventually result in a yellow warning message on the instrument
cluster.

Action:

Replace the coolant regulator.
Information
The coolant regulator is integrated in the coolant regulator housing and cannot be replaced separately. In
order to replace the coolant regulator, the coolant regulator housing must be replaced.

Transfer the coolant pump with a new seal to a new coolant regulator housing.
