Following continuous monitoring of the quality of our product, it has been found that on the vehicles mentioned above it is
necessary to add a retention strip on the water hose to ensure the correct distance of the same from the exhaust manifold in
every situation.

Tools required for the intervention:
 4 mm allen key
 8 mm allen key
 5 - 8 Nm torque range wrench
Intervention procedure:


The operations will be carried out on the left side of the motorbike in the area of the pump radiator hose:



Remove the two fixing screws of the left engine cover code. SPMV8000D3223:

Gently move the bulkhead away from the operation area:




Collect the retaining clamp cod. SPM
V8000C6415 and separate the clamp from the receptacle for the screw, the removed part will not be used.



Apply the clamp between the left cradle of the frame and involving the coolant pipe cod. SPMV8000D1694; the clamp
must take the electrical cables present in the area, NOT the oil pipe.
The clamp must be passed through the hole present on the fixing slot of the cradle (right side pic):

To ensure correct tightening of the clamp it is possible to use an 8 mm Allen key as a template by inserting it into the
clamp and pulling it until it comes into contact with the tool; NOTE: DO NOT FORCE beyond the contact point, pull lightly
until the band has slightly tightened the sleeve.



Check that there is a minimum distance of 20 mm between the exhaust manifold n°1 and the pipe code.
SPMV8000D1694:

20 mm

If the indicated distance is NOT respected, it is possible to modify the orientation of the coolant pipe cod.
SPMV8000D1694 itself by rotating it ANTICLOCKWISE at the side connected on the coolant radiator, loosening the
existing screw clamp:






Make sure to retighten the screw clamp to the torque of 5 Nm.
Reassembly the left engine cover code. SPMV8000D3223 tightening the screws with the torque of 8 Nm.
Start the engine and perform 5 cycles of activation of the cooling fam in order to check that there are no coolant leaks.
Perform a dynamic test of the vehicle to confirm compliance.
