Remove the standard quick
connector  26 -1- and intermediate piece  26 -2- from the
rigid pipe section  26 -3-.
O-ring remains on quick connector.
Check sealing ring for damage.

11.8.2

Install banjo bolt  27 -1- with
sealing ring  27 -2-, hollow screw
 27 -3- and second sealing ring
 27 -4- to adapter piece  27
-5-.

Unscrew front screw  30 -2- from air inlet housing. And remove air quality
sensor from air inlet housing.

11.9.3

Install holder  30 -1- with new
screw  30 -2- onto screw point
on air inlet housing interior.

Secure expansion tank  31 -1- to
holder with tie-wraps  31 -2-.
Ensure the lift system line is not
twisted or under strain.

Mounting front left expansion tank

Guide the expansion tank on the damper through the openings in the dome and
secure it in the boot.
The adjustment wheels for adjusting the damping force must be angled forward in
the cut-out on the body.
Do not reinstall rear cover.
11.10.4 Pre-set chassis height for suspension alignment.
Dimension of lower edge of spring seat to upper edge of wheel carrier: 45 mm

11.12 Installing deactivation kit
The following work steps must be individually
adapted depending on the equipment of the
vehicle.

11.12.2 Thoroughly clean all adhesive surfaces with isopropanol (alcohol). The adhesive
surfaces must be free from dust, dirt and grease of any kind.
11.13 Assembly of deactivation kit on right side of vehicle
11.13.1 Remove protective film of the adhesive pads on the resistors 38 -1- and adhere
resistors  38 -1- as far back and outwards as possible on the longitudinal
member.
Bond resistors to the body without contacting it. (Heat-sink fins must not contact
the metal body structure, to avoid rattle noises)
Insert cooling fins on the resistors into each other, and the electrical lines must
point toward the front of the vehicle.
11.13.2 Install holder  38 -2- and tighten nuts  38 -3-.

11.13.3 Affix the supplied adhesive holders
 38 -4- to a suitable position,
secure both electrical lines 
38 -5- by turning the tabs in the

Route the electrical lines
without tension.
11.14 Assembly of deactivation kit on left side of

 41 -1- and secure it in a suitable
place in the vehicle (no longer
required).
11.14.6 Connect the electrical lines of the
resistors  42 -4- with a new plug
connection  42 -3- and connect
plug connection  42 -3- to the
control unit  42 -2-.

wire harness without chafing, clattering and tensile stress using
tie-wraps.
