Dear Customer,
MV Agusta Motor S.p.A has discovered that a safety defect exists on some MV Agusta
models produced from 18
December 2013 to 10 March 2014. We are therefore conducting a voluntary safety recall.
Affected motorcycles have a swingarm pin that is secured by a non conformant fixing screw which is subject to potential
failure during normal use of the motorcycle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.
Our records indicate that you have purchased one of the affected motorcycles.
We strongly urge you to contact your dealer and make arrangements to have the appropriate remedy service
performed as soon as possible.
The dealer will install a conformant fixing screw.
The estimated required time to perform this service is 15 minutes.
The parts and service are free of charge.
If you have sold your motorcycle, please inform us of the new owner’s details so that we may advise them of this recall.
Also, MV Agusta Motor SpA requests that any vehicle lessor receiving this recall notice must forward a copy of this
notice to the lessee within ten days.
Should you choose to ride your motorcycle prior to this service, we urge you to be aware of the risks and condition.
