Half-handlebars fixation

Product:

Brutale 800 DRAGSTER

We inform you that it is necessary the application of thread lock and half-handlebars screws retightening on the Brutale 800 Dragster model. These improvements are the result of the continuous
quality control of our motorcycles.
It is mandatory to install the update on the interested motorcycles before consignment to
the customer.
Updates are necessary on the following bikes:


MODEL DRAGSTER 800 from VIN …V004518 up to VIN …V005055 included

PROCEDURE TO IMPLIMENT THE UPDATE:

- Unscrew the four fixing screws (1) of the
cover plates.
- Remove the two cover plates.

- Unscrew and remove the two fixing screws
of the central plate (2).

- Apply Loctite 243 on the two fixing screws threads of the central plate (2)
- Reinstall the two screws (2) keeping the central plate adjustment in position “0” (Standard position)
- Make sure that the two half-handlebars are adjusted in the same position and tighten the central
plate fixation screws (2) to a torque of 9 ÷ 10 N·m.
- Reinstall the two cover plates previously removed.
- Reinstall the four fixation screws of the cover plates, tightening them to a torque of 9 ÷ 10 N·m.
- Test the motorcycle before consignment to the customer.
Procedure for Warranty reimbursement:
Send a Warranty Request for reimbursement of labor including all the relevant data regarding the
motorcycle, entering the following codes:






Warranty Type= GS
Special Warranty Code= 2797
Operation Code: M - 999
Labor: 0,2 ore
Defect Code: 099

Please make note to this same communication.
The reimbursement of the warranty request will be carried out via Invoice as is the normal
procedure.
