Digger Derrick ANSI Standard Decal

Issue:
Terex digger derricks may have the incorrect ANSI compliance decal installed. The incorrect decal states
that operators must comply with the requirements of American National Standard Institute A92.2 whereas
the correct decal references American National Standard Institute A10.31.

Action:
Inform all users and service personnel that the incorrect decal may been installed on their machine, which
will refer them to the incorrect ANSI standard. The correct standard for a digger derrick is ANSI A10.31.
The decal will be located near the control station as shown in Figures 1 and 2.

The decal for digger derricks is part number 485894, as shown in Figure 3. The decal for aerial devices
is part number 468476A, as shown in Figure 4.

What Terex will Do:
Terex is making available the correct decal at no cost to the owner for 90 days after the release date of
this bulletin. After the 90 days, the decal, part number 485894, will be available for purchase through
Terex replacement parts. Each machine requires one (1) decal.
Contact Terex Utilities; through your nearest TEREX Utilities dealer as shown on the web site,
terexutilities.com, call Terex Utilities Warranty Department at 1-844-837-3948 or by email at
[email protected] to provide a list of serial numbers for the affected machines. They will be
shipped to the address you designate. When you receive the correct decal, remove the incorrect decal
and install the correct one in its place.
Terex and local industry standards (CSA and ANSI) require that the purchaser of a Terex unit report to
Terex the model and serial number of each machine sold, as well as the name, address, and telephone
number of the new owner, within 60 days of the sale. Use the Owner Update Form in the manual to
update the owner status of any of your machines. Terex also asks the seller to provide the new owner
information so if you require additional copies of the Owner Update Form or have any questions, please
contact TEREX Utilities Warranty Department at 1-844-837-3948 or [email protected].
