Horton continually works to improve our processes and quality based on feedback from dealers, the warranty team, service,
assembly and suppliers.
ISSUE
Some vehicles might experience failures with the I4G Front Panel Display. The situation has been
isolated to only the front panels. It has been demonstrated during testing that the current resistor value
was designed to be 3.9 ohms but was populated with 3.9k ohms. This caused an issue with the Boost
Circuit that caused damage to FET’s Q500, Q501 and Q502.
Replace the incorrect R513 resistor with a 3.9 ohm resistor. The final unit 10020480 shall have the PCB
assembly replaced with a reworked assembly with a yellow dot and a deviation label “2020-008” placed
next to the serial number label.
RECOMMENDED ACTION IN THE FIELD
The proper repair procedure includes:
1. Remove damaged I4G Front Panel
2. Place a yellow dot label next to part number label.
3. Replace Front Panel with new.
4. Verify operation.
