NEW THIS WEEK
Freightliner Chassis Production Update
Freightliner truck plants continue to struggle with parts shortages, and as a
result, the US plants will be closed next week to help give suppliers time to get
parts to their plants so they can run production.
2020 National Show Truck (#19313) Digital (Video) Information
During our Dealer Principal call today, we reviewed a new document showing
what digital items are available for our 2020 National Show Truck (#19313), as
well as other videos that are in our library that go in more detail of our Horton
features and HOPS. Please click here to review the 2020 National Show Truck

International CV & Chevrolet HD Cab Steps
Below are pictures of what our standard cab steps will look like on the
International CV & Chevrolet HD chassis. These steps are roughly 17" from the
ground, very similar to the Ford F-550 chassis cab step height.

New Seat Belt Buckles in Squad Bench Riser
Below are pictures of the old and new style seat belt buckles for the squad
bench riser. As you can see, when the sleeves are on no one will be able to tell
the difference between the old and new buckles. With the sleeves off, you can
see the old one uses seat belt material where the new one uses a rigid metal
material. This new buckle will help prevent the seat belt from falling over on the
squad bench riser. As soon as inventory of the old seat belt buckle is depleted,
the new seat belt buckle will be installed.

New Style

New Proposal Drawing Information Sheet
Please click here to review the new Proposal Drawing Information Sheet that
will need to be filled out when requesting proposal drawing. The document will
be on the Dealer Portal in the Sales Download file. If you have any questions in
regards to this new documents, please reach out to either Kevin Westfall or
Brandon Deagle.
Dealer/Customer Supplied Parts Reminder
Just a reminder, all Dealer/Customer Supplied Parts must be at Horton prior to
unit starting in production. We are currently spending a fair amount of time
reaching out to dealerships to get dealer/customer supply in to us after the unit
has started production. Being that the backlog is locked for the next several
weeks, this should give all of you enough time to get the part to us prior to the
unit starting in production.

Memorial Day - Monday, May 25, 2020
Office and Production will be closed on Monday, May 25 for observation of
Memorial Day. Normal hours will resume on Tuesday, May 26,2020.
PREVIOUS WEEKS
OEM Driver Assist Pre-Collision Option and Push Bumpers (REMINDER)
Back on our bulletin dated 2/11/20, we posted the following - "Last August,
OEMs announced the Driver Assist Pre-Collision option. We reached out to the
OEM to ask about how modifications to the front bumper, which such items as a
push bumper, may affect the functionality of the Driver Assist Pre-Collision
option. The OEM did not give definitive direction, but we were told these types
of modifications may interfere with the camera and/or radar zone. Since we do
not yet have a clear direction from the OEM on this subject, we have decided to
pause these and similar modifications to the front bumper on chassis with OEM
Driver Assist Pre-Collision until we have a better understanding and directive
from the OEM. We are still actively working to obtain this information from the
OEM and will provide an update when possible." We are re-posting this
announcement because we have recently started receiving request to add
Buckstop bumpers to chassis that have Driver Assist Pre-Collision Option. We
have not changed our stance in regards to this option. Until OEM gives us clear
guidelines on how to install these bumpers and not interfer with the Driver
Assist Pre-Collision system, we cannot offer these types of options on chassis
with the Driver Assist Pre-Collision Option.
Navistar/International Update
Springfield,OH is schedule to open back up on Monday, May 18th. This is
clearly a fluid situation with everything going on with chassis suppliers.
Currently struggling with axles shortages. Production start up is subject to
change.
Welcome to the Horton Family
Please help me welcome ETR, LLC, and Mercy Sales, Inc to the Horton
family. ETR will represent Horton in the state of Florida while Mercy Sales, Inc
will be representing Horton in the state of Michigan...or as Lance Randolph
would say, the state up north. WELCOME to our family! (Last week for this

OEM (GM/FCA/Ford) - Chassis Production Update
Most automakers are now targeting May 18th to resume production at their
U.S. factories after UAW officials raised concerns over earlier suggestions to
restart earlier in May. We will continue to communicated information as it
comes in to us. (Last week for this notification.)

Code 3 Dome Lights with Vital Vio Technology
We have been informed that the lead time on the Code 3 dome lights with Vital
Vio Technology is now currently at 16 weeks with a minimum purchase of 100.
If you have a unit in production and the customer wants to change his current
dome lights to these Code 3 dome lights, you will need to go through our Parts
Department to order them. Once the unit is finished in production, you will take
delivery of the unit and swap these lights out once they are in stock and
shipped to you. In regards to new units, with our current backlog/lead times,
you can option/SR these lights in on any new orders. (Last week for this
notification.)

Sub-flooring Material Change
As presented to the Dealer Principals on a call last Friday, April 24, we are
making a change to our sub-floor material. Each dealership was shipped a
4"x4" sample for review. Please click here to review the letter that was sent with
each sample with information on the new sub-floor. Timing of this change will
be in the next few weeks once we use up some current inventory and are able
to receive the new material to put in stock. (Last week for this notification.)
Ford Exhaust Tip on F-Series Chassis
It has been brought to our attention that Ford has stealth launch a 2020'MY
change in regards to the exhaust tip. Please see photo below for your
awareness. (This is the last week for this notification.)

Lead Time Update
Current production schedule: the next available production slot has a
completion date during the week of 1/11/21. Our current lead time is 225 to 250
days.
Transactional Pipeline Report
Change in request - Please submit your Transactional Pipeline Report to both
Amy Durst ([email protected]) and myself by close of business
each Wednesday; however, only if there have been changes made to the form
since the last time you submitted it. For example if the there have been
changes to the decision date or if you won/lost the business.
