1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the engine control module using the SVM action code as listed in the table below if necessary:

3. (P05A000 ONLY): Perform a key cycle. Then set the basic setting for the radiator shutter (OBD >>> 01 ECM
>>> Basic Setting >>> Adaptation of radiator shutters). If the basic setting fails or cannot be performed, replace
the grille shutter motor per the workshop repair manual.
4. (P05A000 ONLY): If the basic setting passes, perform another key cycle and take vehicle on a test drive. If no
faults occur, vehicle can be released. If grille shutter faults again, replace grille shutter motor per the workshop
repair manual.
