This Service Policy Letter is an update of SPL-04-0547 from May 2015. Amendments to this document have a black line
against them in the left-side margin.
Dear Colleagues,
New tyres and tyre ratings were introduced for 15MY and 16MY Vehicles. This Service Policy Letter gives information
about what to do when tyres on pre-15MY vehicles must be replaced. You can find a complete list of the correct tyres
installed on vehicles from 06MY onward in Appendix A.
Note:
We recommend that all tyres are replaced in axle sets, even if it is only necessary to replace one tyre.
Summer Tyres
DBS, Virage and DB9
For DBS, Virage and DB9 vehicles built up until 15MY, tyres must only be replaced with the new AMV rated tyres in the
conditions that follow:
• If it is necessary to replace all four tyres
• If it is necessary to replace the rear tyres only.
If it is necessary to replace the front tyres, then these must be replaced with AMS rated tyres or replace all four tyres.
AMV tyres must not be installed on the front wheels if AMS rated tyres are installed on the rear wheels of the vehicle.
DB9 vehicles from 15MY onwards must only have AMV rated tyres installed. AMS rated tyres must not be installed on a
15MY onward DB9 vehicle.
Note:
For DBS vehicles, this new policy only applies to Pirelli PZero tyres. The optional Pirelli Corsa tyres are not
affected.
Vanquish
For Vanquish vehicles built up until 15MY, tyres should only be replaced with the new AM4 rated tyres in the conditions
that follow:
• If it is necessary to replace all four tyres
• If it is necessary to replace the front tyres only.
If it is necessary to replace the rear tyres then these must be replaced with AMX rated tyres or replace all four tyres. AM4
tyres must not be installed on the rear wheels if AMX rated tyres are installed on the front wheels of the vehicle.
Vanquish vehicles from 15MY onwards must only have AM4 rated tyres installed. AMX rated tyres must not be installed
on to a 15MY onward Vanquish vehicle.

V8 Vantage and V8 Vantage S
The part numbers for the tyres installed on 15MY V8 Vantage models have been updated to a “B” level. These new “B”
level tyres can also be used on vehicles up to 15MY that have “A” level tyres. The A2A rated tyres introduced at 16MY
can also be used on vehicles up to 15MY.
Note:
Axle sets must have the same level revision tyres installed.
For 15MY V8 Vantage vehicles, “B” level AM2 rated tyres or A2A rated tyres must be installed.
Note:
The side wall tyre rating does not change for “B” level revision tyres and stays as AM2.
V8 Vantage vehicles from 16MY onwards must only have A2A rated tyres installed. AM2 rated tyres must not be installed
to a 16MY onward V8 Vantage vehicle.
V12 Vantage and V12 Vantage S
The part number for the tyres installed on V12 Vantage models has been updated to a “C” level for Pirelli Corsa tyres and
a “B” level for Pirelli PZero tyres. These new tyres can be used on vehicles up to 15MY that have the previous level tyres
installed.
For V12 Vantage S vehicles built after 15MY, “B” level Pirelli Pzero tyres or “C” level Pirelli Corsa tyres must be installed.
Note:
The side wall tyre rating does not change and remains as AM8 for both variant of Pirelli tyre.
Rapide and Rapide S
The part number for the tyres installed on Rapide models has been updated from CD43 to FD43. These new FD43 level
tyres can be used on vehicles up to 15MY that have CD43 level tyres.
Note:
Axle sets must have the same level revision tyres installed.
For Rapide vehicles built after 15MY, FD43 level tyres must be installed.
Note:
The side wall tyre rating is A4A for the FD43 level tyres.
Winter Tyres
Winter tyres have not changed. Use the same part numbers when you order winter tyres.
